There always seems to be a bad period of a few months before everything picks up again and the story is back on track. Remember how bad Note was? And then we got July?

I think it's always possible to change things, like PM did after LA's era. However bad things get, there's always a way of fixing it. But it definitely would have made us lose the will to watch.

Completely agree! I hate it when EPs/shows won't admit to their own mistakes. There's no harm in it. It's when they shove stuff down our throats and say it's amazing that's the worst.

No, that's the difference. I sort of giggled and eyerolled my way through LA, because I wasn't all that bothered. And Ste/Kieron came out of it really well, and I loved that. Plus, I just always felt LA's days were numbered. This was worse, because it just felt like the whole show was taking a massive wrong turn, and didn't even realise it.

And the characters and stories that ES got were some of the best, so all that wasted potential was awful. I'm still a bit surprised she went in a way! I wonder if she was politely asked to go, or whether she had just had enough.

Always have and always will. I've been properly invested in HO again since July. First time I have REALLY been interested since BK left. And by the looks of it, it is since he has had a say again, that I have been enjoying it all over again.
Don't get me wrong, I know he fluffed up a few times, EE being one of them, but he knows HO. He was the reason it was massive at one point.
Plus The Dog fire will never not make me cry buckets. Justin/Becca/Clare/Max/OB. Oh, how I miss it all.And Mr G. I miss him terribly

The glee with which they put the boot into the best story they ever had. Horrible. I think they just thought they could resuscitate it whenever they felt like it. So, so wrong. Stories like this need to be treated with love and care. I'm glad it's finally getting it.

Those were amazing episodes. It was a great way to basically get rid of half the cast
And I always remember the moment when Kris and Zoe hear Joe's phone ringing and think he's alive, only to see him in the bodybag.

I so loved the reaction to that. I think they realised they had made a mistake the second they put it up. They underestimated us.

Didn't he have some weird comedy x-mas ringtone that's how they knew it was him
it was kinda haunting when they turned around and saw the body bags.

Gawd, it makes me sad just thinking about it.
And he was brave, it was well loved characters, who were victims of a really grim and sad storyline.
OT - Emmett has druggie eyes. His pupils are always massive, like he's high all the time
It seems too thin to be a cut from a punch, if you know what I mean? It almost looks like a paper cut on his lip. Or something smashed near him. Or Emmett just cut his lip.
