Post songs that you would like Ella to sing this week.

My Immortal by Evanscene (I have probably spelt something wrong there)

Fantastic song choice, mentioned in the appreciation thread that this could be a great choice for Ella.

That is a great song choice. She could have a Cher Lloyd-style 'Stay' moment with that.

I'm also thinking Howl by Florence and the Machine would be a good Halloween song although it's probably insanely difficult to do live if you're not Florence.

There's one song, and one song only 'Gloomy Sunday' by Billie Holiday

Liking some of the song choices, whatever Ella sings she will smash it.

Some I've seen batted about in other threads/entered my head:

Bring Me To Life by Evascence
Haunted by Taylor Swift
Cosmic Love by Florence & The Machine
Stay by Shakespear's Sister
Misguided Ghosts by Paramore
Decode by Paramore
Daniel by Bat For Lashes

Bring Me to Life seems like a perfect choice. I hope Tulisa doesn't 'throw her under the bus' with this theme (that was a metaphor BTW ).

I'd be curious to hear her sing a Lady Gaga song for some reason... you could probably argue any song by Gaga could fit Halloween, but I'd like to hear her sing Monster from the Fame Monster album.

I have a strong suspicion that it will be "I've put a spell on you".

I would love if she did Murder on the dancefloor

Monster or Decode by Paramore. I think she needs to experiment with music genres, I can't see where she'll fit in the music industry.

Jar Of Hearts would be another good song for her but I think Jahmene might be singing that.

Funhouse by Pink is an ideal contemporary Halloween track and should suit Ella

There's a hint of a growl or a rockier tinge to her voice that I'd like to hear a bit more of. I'd like to hear her do something totally unexpected and a bit different, after all Hallowe'en is all about adopting a different persona. Maybe Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves) by The Wombats. Not slowed down or ballad-ised ,just her totally going for it. Might be interesting.

Craig sang it last year and that version was fantastic, but I'm not sure if it is suited to this theme.
