It would be obvious to the persons wife/husband that its rubbish, as if they were in a heterosexual marriage, someone saying the person is gay, would make them Bi, as they would be having sex with their spouse as well.

Also if they were claiming they were Bi, so long as they arent claiming they have been having affairs, then again it makes no difference.

All I shall say is this:

If I was a top footballer who was dogged by rumours that I was gay, it would be incredibly beneficial for my image if I got married to one of the country's most desirable female pop stars. Then I could be free to live my personal life however I wished to.

Conversely, if I was a very desirable female pop star who had recently been dogged by potentially career ruining accusations of racism due an incident involving a black toilet attendant, it would be incredibly benefical to my image if I got married to one of the country's top black footballers. Then I could be free to advance my career without being called a racist.

Carry the sham on for a few years, grab even more headlines when the marriage crumbles. (It would suit the guy's desired image to be branded as a love rat after all, and he can ride out a few tough headlines for a few weeks). Then split up and go our separate ways, thanking each other for the mutually beneficial arrangement cos each of us has brought something to the table.

That's all I'm sayin'.

Being Gay is just what you are, it isnt a stigma, or anything anyone should be embarrassed about.
The only people who wouldnt like being called gay are those with a problem with gays surely.”

I'd have thought the people who aren't gay wouldn't want to be called gay, for the simple fact that they aren't gay.

What are you blabbing about? Who cares if someone calls you gay? There are a million worse things you could be called. The only reason someone in 2014 would have a problem with it would be either:

They are so far in the closet they can't even handle it being said or they are homophobic. I might get called a bastard, it doesn't instantly mean i am one. Water off a duck's back and all that.

What am I blabbing about?! How polite. I was responding to the post I quoted, that's generally how a forum works. I was giving another suggestion as to why someone might have an issue with being called gay.

In your opinion, they're the only reasons. Yes, there are a million worse things that you could be called, I'm not insinuating that being called gay is an insult. I am straight, and have absolutely no issue with gay people, but if people were constantly saying I was gay and gossiping about it, despite me saying I was straight and living my life like a straight person, I'd probably have an issue with it because they would be calling me a liar, and I'm not a liar. Just because you don't have an issue with it, doesn't mean others won't or aren't allowed to.

For example, I'm a Supernatural fan, and there are sections of that fanbase that genuinely think/thought that Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are in a relationship, despite both being married to women, and having children, and nothing previously ever suggesting they are gay. Some fans have now moved on to suggesting that Jensen and their other co-star, Misha Collins, are in a relationship (Misha is also married with children) There are fans who call Jensen homophobic because he doesn't like to entertain those rumours at fan conventions. Surely as a happily married straight man, he is allowed to have an issue with being called a liar? Because these apparent fans of his are calling him exactly that.

Agreed Shelley, those types of fans are demented and only see what they want to see. Quite scary how people can be so delusional, all because they ship their characters. Real life shipping is the weirdest, especially when people start to believe it.

It's not homophobic to say it's a huge insult to their wives and kids to insinuate they are gay because that is your fantasy.

He's also from Texas so that ups the homophobic quota as well

No he can't be gay, he has had girlfriends.

No man that has had a girlfriend can be gay, so many posters on here tell us that time after time.

nice try at sarcasm there....but I think most smart people know that Charlie King and ( his family ) knew he was/is gay for a long time....this "I only just realised I was gay " is complete crap. He wants a career in (un)reality telly hence this pathetic storyline. Only the very dumb masses will believe this.

I think you meant anyone with less than half a brain and with a lot of time on their hands

Honestly, the comedy on here is just brilliant, especially because people are serious

As I've said before, I could actually believe that one or both of them is gay or bi, but I don't claim to have any evidence of that. Some of the "evidence" people (especially the Chim shippers, but I'm not singling them out) come up with is ridiculous.

I'm don't buy the Cheryl/Ashley sham gay/racist conspiracy. I jut don't see how it's beneficial to him at all. Or Cheryl, really.

AC's sexuality was not in question until lawsuit.

If he wanted to hide his sexuality why not just pick a normal girl and be seen with her a couple of times, then break up quietly? Why go through all of that - when the marriage fell apart, the negative headlines lasted for year; the man experienced extreme antipathy.

Prior to AC, and after the Sophie attack, Cheryl dated Keiron Dyer (and she was recieving considerable press), and before that, Hayden from Ultimate Chaos, so it was not urgent for her to find a black or dark-skinned mixed race man.

Far too elaborate plan that relies on chance, when an easier solution could be found.

Is Jenson, Jared and Mischa a thing? I'll pay good money to see that. lol!

Seriously though, why is SPN still going its so bad now. It really did jump the shark when "Jump the shark" aired.

No. It's fan delusion. Though there was talk about Jensen back in the day when he was on Days Of Our Lives. If you had a gun to my head and out of the three asked if one was gay (and that's a big if) i'd choose him.

Oh I know it's not really a thing, just think it would be hot. Lol!

I admit I do like Dean/Castiel slash, but I just don't get Wincest.

Has Tevin Campbell come out yet?
