I clicked on the hashtag #ImGayItsPrettyUnfortunate out of curiosity and discovered the 1D fandom going into absolute meltdown over this video.

There's no doubting that he said he's gay in it, but I think it sounds like he's being sarcastic. But he's since changed his Twitter profile picture to the default one, unfollowed his management's official account (as have some of his bandmates) and has also unfollowed his supposed girlfriend so who knows.

Luke Evans was very very very out about being gay (even gave interviews talking about what kind of cocks he likes, and saying he'd never be closeted because it's important to him to be an out gay man and that everyone knows him as an out gay man) up till the point Hollywood came calling. Then he went back into the closet. I read he's back to being quietly out now. V odd. It's remarkable that someone who was that publicly super-out can go back into the closet! Luke's sort of been edging out a little again with Jon Kortajarena, or was a while ago, but who knows what will happen next.

He appears to be playing the 'I keep my private life private' sort of line, which is the middle path I guess works for him and his situation at present.

I know a lot of people felt angry at Luke over the inning and outing but I confess I never felt that rage about him at all. He's a product of industries that are built on makebelieve and image, even downright lies, and it really wasn't a surprise once Hollywood and big money came calling. I just think it's a shame and I hope more high profile people come out and make a difference in 2015.

Someone I know has spent time with One Direction behind the scenes in the past says Louis is out behind the scenes but who knows!? Nothing would surprise me either way.
