He does ping massively but I can't quite articulate why. He's got the squinty eyes which are often a give away, and if you take away the beard, he does look very effeminate.

I am fast forming the opinion that it was a fake story to titilate and sell newspapers. *Rolleyes* . Anyway I think they would have come out by now, unless all the publicity has frightened them back in the closet.

Supposedly they were going to wait until the end of the season, so as not to disrupt their clubs' league campaigns due to media attention. But would they then wait a little longer, so as not to disrupt the European championships? The lucrative pre-season tour in the middle east? The next transfer window?
If you're "ready" to announce something, but only at some point in the relatively distant future, why mention it at all? It's just a nothing story the papers drag out occasionally to liven up quiet news days.

As I said, I think the media know who is gay in the Premier League (and more widely in showbiz) they just have agreements not to out people so print stuff like this to try and bait them out of the closet.
