That wouldn't surprise me too much. Wasn't there a story a while back about a female tennis player (I want to say it was Heather Watson, but I might be wrong) saying that another player had made a pass at her that was generally thought to be about Sharapova?

Then there was Kelly Rowland's ex claiming that he caught her and Serena together.

Dimtrov certainly pings, and with all the rumours about Scherzinger and Williams, "bearding circle" certainly sounds about right. Didn't know there were rumours about Shriekapova, but it wouldn't surprise me.

There were rumours ages ago that Sharapova was dating the actress Camilla Belle.

Well.....since you asked, I’ll give you at least some of the reasons.

1. Her relationships with men. She appears to have fake relationships. Since she divorced Ashley she dated two back up dancers, sold those relationships like mad to the press, and then dumped them when the release of her albums were over. Now she marries a man who she clearly doesn’t know at all. These relationships are highly suspicious. They appear fake. Especially her recent marriage, this is the fakest of them all. And when she married Ashley he had A TON of gay rumors.

2.Chim. The fandom of Girls Aloud have noticed for years that Cheryl’s friendship with Kimberley is not like a normal friendship. I don’t know if chim is real or not, but I have noticed that their relationship is much closer than most friends, and that there seems to be a charged chemistry between them. The fandom hasn’t given them a couple’s name and become obsessed with them for no reason.

3.If you watch X Factor, she acts really gay on it. I’m surprised people haven’t questioned her sexuality purely based on this. She is constantly going on and on about how beautiful or sexy the female contestants are and always with a real passion that is beyond what you’d see from a straight women admiring another woman's looks. I suppose people just overlook these comments because she’s feminine. If she were tomboyish, people would have noticed right away. Never seen her give any care for the men. Reggie and Bollie is the first time I've ever seen her even pay attention to male contestants, and her friendship with them is very sibling-y.

4.She always seems sad. Despite, apparently, being one of the most beautiful, desired woman in the country, she can’t seem to find love. Poor Cheryl just has such bad luck with men! Can’t seem to find happiness since Ashley, always gives off a vibe of loneliness and sadness. Especially now when she's supposed to still be in the honeymoon stage of a new relationship, she has anorexia and perhaps a drug problem, clearly an unhappy person.

5. There are a ton of blind items saying she's gay. It's not just people on this site that think she is.

^ Careful, you presented rational, thoughtful analysis based on observation as well as industry rumour.

The DS thought police will have you down as a tinhat 'wishful thinker'.

I cant see Cheryl and Kimberley together simply because Kimberley's relationship appears real because of it's length. Cheryl and Nicola would make more sense.

On lesbian forums there is quite a bit of speculation about the fact that Cheryl' weight is plummeting right at the time Kim is gearing up to be married.

LOL, or made up crap based on nothing but nonsense stereotyping, nonsense rumors, and nonsense opinion. IDGAF if you think being called out by someone makes them thought police.

There is no rational, reliable way to analyse someone's sexuality. There is no such thing as having an impartial well thought out opinion on someone's sexuality. The only time you'll have a valid way of knowing someone's sexuality is if they tell you, the rest is just speculation for people with nothing better to do

Why are you on this thread in the first place then? It's about in the closet celebs. If it's impossible to tell if someone is in the closet, then scadaddle from this thread, as it has no use for you.

It's not. It's about who people want to be gay. Who are you to dictate who posts in here anyway.

Giving my opinion on how shit it is that people still have this attitude towards sexuality. Stop me.

5. There are a ton of blind items saying she's gay. It's not just people on this site that think she is.”

The first and fourth reasons could just be because she appears to have a difficult personality which means that she finds relationships are hard to maintain. Nothing to do with being a lesbian, everything to do with being brittle and career-driven, two things that men don't generally find attractive (because men in the industry and egotistical and obsessed with being an "alpha" male. Brittle and career-driven women, no matter how beautiful, terrify them.)

Reason number two - "Chim" won't be the first gay celebrity pairing that people have obsessed about and given a name without knowing if it's true or not, and they won't be the last. It's what fans do. Talk to tinhatters in the Supernatural fandom genuinely believe that 'J2' is a real thing and could give you a dossier of conspiracy theories if you ask them about it; 'Larry' shippers are even crazier - despite the fact that it's well known within the industry that Harry and Louis actually can't stand each other.

Reason number three - She probably does this because she thinks it makes her 'sexier' to flirt with the female contestants. If she was genuinely a closeted lesbian she would steer well clear of making comments that people read too much into. Same as her flirtations with Kim.

Reason number five - blind items can be a good indicator but they can also be a load of rubbish made up by bored website owners looking for hits.

But with all of that said, I don't know if she is gay or not. I just think that it's important to remember there are always other sides to an argument.

The fact that the poster is polite, presents a detailed and respectful analysis of their views and then gets jumped on by others, told they're 'nonsense' and then I get jumped on (gee, I ought to charge) by enraged little hobbits who hang round this thread leering at peoples opinions only to knock them, makes you guys the thought police.

You can't stand it but you can't stand not to police it in case you miss something.

Grow up. Especially you, sorcha.

Let's assume that the Cheryl/ashley thing was a relationship of convenience, I really struggle to understand what ashley gets out the deal. He could just as easily get a girl without the baggage (racist allegations) to fulfil the role; prior to Cfv he had a long term gf of 5 yrs. would someone who is routinely racially abused on an international level be happy to enter an arrangement with a potential racist? Also Cheryl was already dating black and mixed race men before and after (keiran dyer) the incident. Any of these guys could have fulfilled the role.

As for gay rumours, the only footballers there have been tons about (during that error) were jenas, Campbell and ljungberg. There was never an amount about AC were drastic measures needed to be taken. lol.

I don't buy Chim either.

Career driven women tend to be thoroughly unpleasant, and treat people, male or female, very badly. The fact that men tend not to like them is little to do with men, it's all to do with what power does to women as opposed to what it does to most men. What man wants to date a complete bitch?

On the flip side, women, especially closeted ones, love career driven, rich men. They get to be seen hanging on to a male arm every so often, thus dispelling any nasty rumours, and they get their meal ticket, all while not actually having much if any of an actual relationship because the man's never out of his workplace.

Not if she wanted to let gays know what she was without coming out. History is full of closeted female celebs who are either too stupid to keep their mouth shut, or who are desperate to come out while maintaining plausible deniability.

I'd take some of your own advice if I were you.

So disagreeing about someone being gay based on very flimsy evidence is being rude is it?

There's no such thing as a respectful analysis of a stranger's sexuality. As to the rest of your post diddums.
