Bryson DeChambeau, hadn't heard of him before until I seen him in the Masters and heard him speaking in an interview, just thought watching it that he seemed gay?
That's the guy who's a physics student with an unusual swing (I'm still talking golf) and a custom made set of clubs. He doesn't strike me as gay, but what do I know.

Was the other day when I was watching him being interviewed, was just watching thinking that "this guy seems gay" just everything about him, the way he spoke, acted etc

Am i right in saying Leon Lopez (ex Brookside, now in Eastenders) is gay?

Get no vibes from him, but i think it's common knowledge

Looking on twitter, he sure sounds like it. Can't think of many other straight guys who end replies to male posters with three kisses (xxx)

Do you understand why some men attend these parties on a weekly basis?

I feel its escapism. I feel there is still a lot of homophobia in society and in our own gay community. Internalised homophobia. We as people, not gay people, but people in general, just want to be accepted. And sadly we are still fighting a battle. It’s not as bad as it was but its still a battle and we are facing new evolving problems. It’s an escape from the 9 to 5, a place where people are so high they will sleep with you and find you attractive even if they wouldn’t when they’re sober. People take drugs and feel more confident. But this is all a false state of being. It’s not real and when the drugs wear off, and the come down hits, people feel depressed and down and some people have even been known to take their own lives. What’s more, these drugs are not controlled. So people take too much by mistake, or there are stories of people being so high and passing out and guys having sex with them when they have been unconscious. It’s a dangerous world.

Sounds like he's open about it?

Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones says she "doesn't believe in labels":

http://www.eonline.com/news/756593/m...iew-with-nylon

When it comes to matters of the heart, she relates well to what another (former) child star once said. "I've never sat up and thought about my sexuality for hours," she says. "It's like what Shailene Woodley said: 'I fall in love with personalities and not people or genders.' I have no problem with anyone who would want to be labeled, but I also think that it is no one's business."

Anyone else notice on tonight's (15/04) BGT that Simon may have totally looked at a guys ass when he was about to start his act? It's the group that danced along the floor haha

I seriously don't understand how people think he is straight?

Agreed. It's really sad to see someone who is so ashamed of his sexuality.

Nobody actually believes Cowell is straight do they?

I agree it is quite sad, particularly because I think nobody would give a damn.

I think some people do buy into the narrative he spins. Not many though I suspect.

Simon, Louis....what is it with closeted X Factor judges?! It's not like being open with their sexuality would be harmful to their careers

If people want to be in the closet that's their business - they owe us nothing. But when they force the people whose careers they control to do the same thing

Its not so much staying in the closet, its the painfully fake PR relationships.

Not to mention Cheryl... Simon Cowell seems to have major issues with his sexuality. It appears he projects his own shame about being gay onto the people who work under him, including the other judges, and the musical acts on his label. It's quite sad and gross in 2016. Oh well.

I always got the impression he hated being around any act who was openly gay too. Its no secret he disliked Will Young intensely while after the whole Danyl story came out Simon tried his best on several of the live shows to paint him as a straight man. I find it so strange. It does appear like he is ashamed.

If Louis (1D) is really gay or bi like people, including myself, suspect, I think Cowell's influence may be stopping the kid from being who he really is.

Its almost like he thinks being gay is a way to ruin a brand name. Very sad.

Well in a way, they're not wrong. It does affect people's careers, sadly. Of course it's not as impactful as it was before, but the older generations probably still see it as career-suicide. I'm certain that's why the industry continues to perpetuate this whole circus.

Yes but slowly but surely we are seeing it isn't: Will Young, Adam Lambert, Sam Smith, Troye Sivan, Olly Alexander...

And those all happen to be men... I'm waiting till the day we have some successful mainstream out-gay female singers.

No, she's engaged to a male actor, Tyler Kinney.

It is true that there's a complete lack of out female popstars even though we're living in a bit of a golden age for out male popstars. It's very odd.
