Indeed. Although I think the vast majority of the time the fact that someone is married with/out kids to someone of the opposite sex actually means 'everything' - and I wish people would stop trotting the line out over and over as if it automatically could have any relevance. Chances are very very high indeed that it doesn't.
It's ridiculous how some gay men assume every good looking actor and musician is gay and that their girlfriends and wives are "beards". Someone on another forum insists that Hunter Parrish only got married to disguise his true sexuality and feelings. Chances are Hunter and other celebrities like him are straight and happily married, I know that ruins the fantasy for a lot of the deluded gay men out there. It's one thing to have a fantasy in your wank bank but it's another to actually talk about it as though it's real and you have proof.

Indeed, but I think the point is that someone being married is never 100% proof that they are straight, which some people use to effectively shut down discussion about certain people.
If someone is married with children, it's irrelevant to the public whether or not they may be secretly homosexual as it will clearly never be something they open up about
