You go girl!

There's also a blind about him getting bummed in the back of limo by a certain Hobbit way back when.”

For some reason, he reminds me of a certain character from Prison Break! But he is surely out of the closet by now!

Do you mean actor? Wentworth Miller is as the saying goes: so far in the closet, he's in Narnia.

No. But I know what you're saying about Wentworth.

I was talking about T-Bag. Almost as though Aaron copied the look and mannerisms. Without the nastiness and sexual deviancy of the character.

So after reading this thread I learned that every man in the public eye is gay.

Sorry, yes.

(We've saved that uber-stud, Simon Cowell, for ya.)

Welcome to DS fantasy land, where every hot guy is gay according to the (coincidentally of course) gay male posters

I think a lot of the posts are not to be taken seriously though, and are just made in good fun.

Yes, funny how no one seems to be falling over themselves to insist the likes of John McCririck or Johnny Vegas et al are gay

To be fair I think a lot of the men that are being discussed are possibly gay and I'm a gay woman so I have nothing to gain from them being gay.

But I do think most are made in good fun, especially the likes of Simon Cowell as he's always playing up how much of a ladies man he is.

I'm a woman and I have had relationships with both genders, so I really don't mind. Won't make a difference to my life at all! It's just the few posters who try to claim that someone is gay for a "fact", when they have no way of knowing. That bothers me. People trying to define other people's sexuality is just wrong.

The guys who claim that someone who talks about women a lot= compensating and is gay, someone who never talks about women= clearly gay, single= gay, in a relationship or married= bearding. That is ridiculous, wishful thinking logic Most men who are married to women are straight, so the use the "yeah but Elton John was married" is bizarre. That doesn't mean we can doubt anyone's marriage, chances are it's genuine.

But it can work both ways. Obviously the vast majoirty of people are heterosexual, that's just life. But the straight people who seem to think NO ONE famous could ever be gay are weird.

It's especially funny if you go on Luke Evan's IMDB page. Now, I have been a fan of Luke for a long time, seen him on stage a few times and think he's a great actor. But the guy came out as gay. He said it himself in a few interviews, now has gone back on his word. But women on his IMDB page are claiming we don't know for sure he is gay and that maybe he is bisexual or even straight

It really bugs me when people say others only suggest a celebrity is gay because they are 'good looking' first of all, just because you think they are good looking doesn't mean they do, second looks have got nothing to do with being gay or straight. Yes, most people are straight(which I have been reminded of ad nauseum) but there are still millions of gay people out there who shouldn't be treated as inferior. Also, there are fans who refuse to believe someone could be gay because they fancy them, it works both ways. Of course there are lots of people in the industry who hide their sexuality. That's nothing new and people in the industry talk about it as a problem. You really think there is no gay premiership footballers, no gay leading men/ women etc. of course there will be areas with more gay men/ women but all of these industries are going to have gay people. And bisexual of course. I hate it when people say they are open minded then get angry when you suggest someone could be gay like it is an insult. Or accept lesbian but not gay men or vice versa. Or pretend gay people are some sort of rare species. People shouldn't have to be in the closet/have fake boyfriends/girlfriends(even get married) for fear of their career/because they have been pressured into it/fear of what people will say etc, yet they are and I don't see it going away anytime soon. That is what should anger people.

Maybe he is in a genuine relationship with the woman.
A lot of men and women identify themselves as gay early on and then fall in love with someone of the opposite sex. It does happen.

Ofcourse it does but he is just saying he is straight now and it's funny how it has happened now he is getting bigger roles. Lots of people don't come out to begin with but he did when he was pretty much unknown. He talked about how much he loved watching gay porn and cock now he is all Women this, women that.

There are loads of old Hollywood stars who were seen as straight when they were alive but since they have died or their career died down they are seen to actually be gay or bi. Rock Hudson, Cary Grant( his daughter says he was straight but Betty White actually said something about the studios organising beards for him), montgomery Clift, James dean, marlon Brando, Farley granger, Katherine Hepburn, greta garbo, barbara stanwyck, Marilyn Monroe, Joan Crawford, Vivien Leigh and many more. People insisted they we're straight and people insist stars today are straight when some of them obviously aren't. Times have not moved on it that way. If Tom cruise is gay do you think he would get the roles he has if he was open about it? There is a reason people stay closeted. Even though much of the public wouldn't care studios want the biggest audience possible.

He may still like watching gay porn. He could just be bi.

He may well be but he may be 100% gay. Whatever he is he is distancing himself from it for his career and he is very niave if he thinks people will just forget although of course he has deluded fan girls who will say he is straight and he came out for what? For a laugh? To further his career? Because that makes an ounce of sense doesn't it! I'm not blaming him or saying he is a bad guy but I wonder if all these closeted stars can really be happy. I'm sure some of them are miserable playing this whole charade. It's sad.

Some great examples there but not Cary Grant. There has never been any confirmation that he was gay, just idle speculation. People thought he might be gay just cos he SHOCK HORROR lived with another man. Many people close to him laughed off those rumours, including one of his ex wives who said "That's why we ****ed like rabbits" There is a great thread about it on IMDB, check it out if you have time. It's called "He was straight??". He might have been bi

Which is my pet hate. People confusing us bisexual people as either straight or gay. Look at katherine Hepburn or James Dean. Both had relationships with men and women, but you get people claiming them both as gay or straight. I actually think it is distasteful for people to be arguing the toss about people's sexuality, especially if they are dead and buried.

I understand the Luke Evans anger though, cos he declared he was gay. He could have realised he liked girls too though. I thought I was a lesbian up until I was 20, then to my surprise I met a man I really fancied. But I doubt it having read several older articles about him It's quite sad more than anything, I remember seeing him in Taboo on the west end, and commenting to friends that it was great to see such a talented, openly gay man. I was quite disappointed when he got success and went back on that, but I understand how hard it must be

I wasn't suggesting Cary Grant was just gay but Betty White actually mentioned him on a talk show when talking about closeted/bearding in the industry then sort of backtracked when the host said "Cary Grant was gay?". It also annoyed me when people forget about bisexuality. Lots of people like both and they are not confused/haven't realised they are gay yet etc.

The Daily Mail are desperate for him to be hetero, aren't they! The need someone to take on the mantle of their great hero Tim Henman!

Searching around the Internet on this topic brings out a lot of hypocrosy. People saying gay men only say they think someone is gay because they fancy them which may be true of some guys, but not the case for a lot of them. Also some of the people who complain about that are fan girls who absolutely refuse to believe any guys they fancy could be gay and say any gay rumours about them must be bullshit. Ofcourse some rumours wont be true but some of them obviously will be. Closeting and bearding is a fact. What difference does it make either way anyway?!

Has any other celebrity tried to go back into the closet having previously been out?
