No, he did not come across as nasty but was actually very sweet and seemed quite well adjusted.

Regan Gascogne
Just saw him on being Paul Gascogne and be had all the prerequisites of being gay - brought up by overbearing mother, shy girly manner, embarrassed/hateful of his father and a sibilant fey voice. |

Not at all. He's dating former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. You know, the one who wears a purity ring.

Just wondering why you are allowed to name people on this thread you think are gay but not name names on the 100% alleged thread?
Surely legally it is the same thing. I "think" so and so is gay. I "think" they are talking about so and so. Makes no sense. |

Yes, because it is so hard to believe a straight man would always talk about women. Seriously, how delusional can some of you get? All signs point to gay in your minds

Saw a brief interview with Regan Gascoigne once and it's pretty obvious he's gay
People can give it the whole 'you're just being stereotypical' all they like, but these same people knew Alan Carr was gay the first time they heard him speak |

Gay people hate their fathers, are shy, and have a fey voice? News to me. That doesn't describe my brother at all.
Let's face it, we still have very little idea why most people are predominantly straight, why some are predominantly gay and why some are bisexual. The problem is as much political in that, for many reasons, loads of people wouldn't like there to be a 'genetic' explanation for gayness. There is some evidence that the children of older mothers and younger members of the family have a greater likelihood of being gay, but that is purely statistical (and conclusions take from statistics can be wildly uninformative and odd) so take that with a pinch of salt, too. And how do we explain twins, such as the Krays, where one is gay and the other isn't? I suspect despite the Western world lightening up a little on gays, it will be quite some time yet before threads like this simply do not exist in the sense that threads on 'What cheese is the Moon made of?' also don't exist. The real problem is the terrible, horrible treatment gays still get in many Asian countries, Africa and Russia. Until that ends, there is a long way to go. A long, long way. |

Nor mine. My gay brother is younger than me, my schizophrenic brother is older. My mother was not overbearing, our father wasn't absent or ineffectual, my brother (who is also one of my best friends) doesn't lisp or is camp and I don't think anyone (except other gays) would realise he was gay.
