This is offensive to gay people as what they're saying is that its not ok to be gay but maybe ok to be Bi .
Daley will do a Duncan at some point and say actually I've always been gay ...yawn
For all those who are saying hes Bi .....if he is why then has he never had a girlfriend ....it seems odd his first relationship is with a man as opposed to a woman which with the pressure of society would naturally be a woman.
Hes gay and every gay man knows it.....lets see what happens in time.”
As we don't know Tom Daley personally we cannot say for certain he is not bisexual.
Unlike a lot of sportsmen, he comes across to me as a lad who is a bit unsure of himself, and doesn't have a great deal of self-confidence. It might be that he does find girls attractive. Twice in the video he says of his male partner "he makes me feel safe". That suggests to me that he lacks confidence. He has had girlfriends, but never anything serious.
I have to say again, at 19 and with more years of his career to go than he has already had, hopefully, he has been more open than so many closeted footballers, so today he has done something personally brave. He isn't a boastful type, and you can see in the video he wasn't entirely comfortable making it. But he did.
I cannot understand the bad feeling towards him. He is a likeable lad, he has never done anyone any harm, and he has never bad-mouthed gay men, unlike some politicians and clergyman who have for professional reasons been anti-gay till they have been "outed" by the press
