Is Luisa Bradshaw-White from Eastenders / This Life / Holby City a lesbian?

I read an interview with her recently where she was saying that her character in Eastenders was meant to be an overweight 50 something but after her audition, they decided to change her to a 30 something lesbian

It was worded something like 'after meeting me they decided to make her a lesbian' which made me wonder

I'm not saying he is gay or bi, but an image of being a cad could be just that - AN IMAGE. It wouldn't be hard for his handlers to construct stories of his caddish ways, and it wouldn't be a hard task for his 'flings' to go public. If there is something to hide, then these people have the tools to hide it.

This is why this thread is so pointless. Might as well just speculate that anyone and everyone is gay by this logic.

Really if someone's public image is straight there's no reason to go claiming they're anything else based on little to no evidence. If they are straight ( as the vast majority probably are), it's a waste of time, and if on the off chance they're gay they obviously don't consider it anyone else's business. If they're bisexual or anything else, it won't even be recognised, so there's no point in them even saying anything is there.

I know no one cares, and people will just whine at me not to read the thread, but I always find these speculations so obnoxious and pointless.

Oh, people always come back with the "Don't read it when" spiel, but you can't expect to have a thread like this and not have people object to how borderline-offensive some of this stuff is. I mean, it's mainly a mixture of pushing stereotypes and wishful thinking.

Sadly, some will just use Tom Daley as a way to tell themselves that their logic of "slightly effeminate = gay" is a sure-fire way to tell who is gay, completely forgetting the amount of effeminate straight guys and non-effeminate gay guys there are.

About as definitive as "____ is obvious" based on nothing but cliches and stereotypes.

Colton Haynes is gay. This photoshoot he did when he was 17 surfaced recently pretty much confirms it and his team were very unhappy about it.

More importantly he's an insensitive douche who's worn blackface two or three times.
But yeah. He's gay. These have been floating around for a while.

Millions do though, hence why everyone thought he was gay.

Some people are convinced theyre straight and some are convinced theyre gay , thats fine. But then you get people like me who have been mostly straight my whole life, happily married, would run a mile if a woman had made a pass at me when younger I think, well 2 made a pass at me and I said no thanks, but that was mostly because I didnt fancy them at all. Who knows what i would have done if i had found them attractive. From my own experiences I had a gay male friend who asked if I would sleep with him out of curiosity to whom I said no as I just didnt fancy him at all, then again when I was living in a hostel in London in my late teens I met a gay rent boy who was servicing an MP connected to the hostel in exchange for bed and board (not giving out identifying info) and we met each other and BAM had a passionate tryst/fluck buddies for around 6 months. He identified himself as gay, had only ever slept with men he must have been about 20 at that point. I dont know if he was truly gay or bi but we definitely connected and he hasnt to my knowledge been involved with a woman since as we are still friends.”

This is a perfect post, sexuality is fluid, and a lot of the people mentioned in this thread could very well have had dalliances with the same sex, I don't for a second believe that makes you gay. For example, prior to meeting my ex-boyfriend, I was in a relationship with a woman for about 12 months, we had a connection and went with it, it didn't work out but I would say I was Bi even though I've only dated guys before and since, I think it's very closed minded of people to dismiss Bisexuality as a nonsense as you are attracted to people, it doesn't matter to me what gender they are

No idea but given that the casts of TOWIE, GS and MIC Fanta Orange People are acting (badly), all playing up to scripts and (known, admitted-to) showmances then there's a possibility any of these folks could be anything across the spectrum.

A very close male friend of mine told his mum he was bi to soften the blow, don't know how he came to that conclusion. Now his mum thinks its a phase he is going through and will grow out of it. In the meanwhile, he keeps on being photographed with various beautiful girls so that his mum can him on face book. To us all his friends he only ventures out with his one boyfriend. So he might be bi, but his behaviour tells me his is not.

I didn't realise your friend was representative of millions of different people.

he isn't but saying you're bisexual 'to soften the blow' is a common phenomenon and that is simply a fact, as uncomfortable as it no doubt is for some. Ask Duncan from Blue and Mika two recent examples of 'bisexual yesterday..gay today' (when they finally decide to be honest with us all). Now cue the screams from the outraged...

In many cases it's the opposite. Someone comes out as bi because they genuinely are bisexual. Then when they enter into a serious relationship with someone of the same sex, they start referring to themselves as gay

Well not exactly celebs until tonight, but those two 'food designers' on the news tonight seemed to be a good bet

If anything, it is a lot more difficult to come out as bisexual. Quite a lot of people simply believe it doesn't exist, so having to deal with people actually challenge you about your own sexuality can be quite damaging.

I'm well aware many, many gay men come out as bi first, I don't dispute that. It just pisses me off when someone says 'my gay friend came out as bi first, but he's fully gay, therefore, all men who say they're bi are gay'. There is zero logic to that line of argument.
