Are you sure about that? To friends and family perhaps, but from the (few) interviews etc I've read I've always had the impression he keeps his private life very much to himself.

It's just conjecture, but I always thought that might be because he wanted to avoid too many comparisons with John Curry, who was treated quite badly by the media as far as I can remember.

I suspect Alan Carr might be gay. I've been watching him closely for years and I think, if you watch very carefully, that the subtext is clear. I know he seems like your typical heterosexual but there's just something setting my gaydar off.

Why is it acceptable for posters on here to say that famous man is living a lie, and then naming of the person and saying that even when they're married they are gay. But I am not allowed to express my opinion on how vacuous the posters that do this are?

Because plenty of married men do live a lie.
