Seriously though, it's a fair point. I know a number of people who are absolutely adamant that men and women
can't be "just friends". Which, from my own point of view and experience, is utter nonsense.
I think, as I've said before, it comes down to the fact that our only
real knowledge of sexuality and sexual/romantic attraction is our
own. We
think we know how other people feel, but we can't - instead we try to project our own feelings (and peculiarities) on to them.
