Great rating for Crickley Hall last night in the circumstances. The BBC will be very pleased with it I'd imagine.

XF's average was 9.44m (33.3%) and peak was 11.46m (38.5%). I think the peak excluding +1 is the highest this series. I'm amazed it isn't higher but it is quite up on last week's show.

The Christmas movies continued yesterday with Home Alone fetching an impressive 2.5m (inc. +1) at teatime for C4, the channel's most watched programme on Sunday.

The broadcast had the demo factor in its favour too as 20% of all 16-34 year olds watching TV were watching C4.

shame it was on 3/4 weeks too early

it would have been a great film to have on Dec 15th onwards

I'm guessing Elf will be on again soon, that draws people in

They exclude +1 yeah.

Consolidated rating of 11.89m (inc +1) for the I'm A Celebrity launch.

maybe so, but I cant help but feel Simon can not keep both the UK and US versions on air, without them both being off the boil, the UK version is showing major signs of this.

I actually have more sympathy for with with regards to the US version, given that its entered the market post The Voice, instead of pre The Voice, to say nothing of any of the other singing reality shows the US has had in X-Factors absence over the year.

anyways general ratings, excellent for both Antiques Road Show and Countryfile. Surprise Surprise still holding up

They never seem to get it quite right with Home Alone. It's either on too early or too late. The past few years it has been shown after Xmas Day itself IIRC, this year we got the other extreme!

There's still the 2nd one to be shown if they have the rights, so they might save that for a more suitable air time.

Miracle on 34th Street is also coming up soon on C4. C5 has Jack Frost which is normally on ITV.

it always seems like FTA channels have rights Christmas movies up until first week of December (which lessens their major appeal to me)

I remember Channel 4 or 5 showing Scrooged in the middle of January, which was particularly stupid

data is live for w/e 11th November

good rating for Saturday SCD
Attenborough prog on BBC2
Inbetweeners did good, but not not Four Weddings great
IMO surprisingly high figure for Spurs match on ITV4
Bomb Girls did okay for ITV3, why did they stick it on a Saturday?

That's a great launch rating. Has BARB updated yet?

People go to bed earlier in winter, because it has gone darker sooner and is cold and miserable, so we get tired earlier.

Plus sitting through the SCD and TXF results shows will tire anyone out on a Sunday night...

great to see that, in the "others" chart, the top 3 BBC entries were from BBC4!

It would be nice to have them in the public domain though, rather than either what we can remember or what have been published, and retained, elsewhere.

Get lobbying for some budget for it, Mike, instead of sticking up for Cowell talent-fests....

With two very low 9pm ratings again for Channel 4 I wonder if something has gone wrong with their ratings again? Might coincide with ITV being slighty higher than expected....

Or Channel 4's dodgy scheduling. I'm more inclined to believe that one.

I offer counter arguments to previous posts, therefore everybody stop making negative posts

but seriously I think BARB are not gonna do that, despite vaguely asking how much it would cost us to load for them.

Barring some miracle funding and whoever has the data within their monitoring system...... it ain't gonna happen

moving on .... Simon Cowell is a god and we should bow down to him

Score where did you find the +1 rating for I'm A Celebrity? It isn't on the BARB site.

I blame the schedulers for the naff line up (this applys to all the FTA big 5)

I'm not a Homeland fan, so I barely register what C4 shows on Sundays at the moment. I don't get why they've moved all their good comedy programmes to that night

Also when are they gonna show second series of Todd Margaret (or did I miss that?)

In that case just do PC measurements before Christmas and we'll all be happy!

Mike do you have a rating for Storyville on BBC4 last night?

Channel 4's wretched scheduling must mean them pissing away a load of advertising money as shows underperform. It seems madness to me.
