I honestly think the production of the US version is worse than the UK version. The UK version has an issue with a dodgy panel - though it has more personality than the US panel - and an arguable lack of talent but the US has that (outside a couple of acts) plus sound problems,no atmosphere and a presenting duo who lack personality - while Mario is an improvement on Steve Jones, Khloe's voice cuts through you like a knife. Add to this the decision to continue with the live judges cut (why not make it a public vote once they realised they could cover two days?) and the scheduling mess thanks to the baseball and it's no wonder it's in freefall.

I actually thought next week we'd see where it has levelled out but next week there are special episodes of The Voice on Wednesday and Thursday so it won't be much better.
Because it's not "like for like" scheduling (plus halloween on Wednesday) it's difficult to determine just how much the baseball mess has cost them. But I'm sure it's a significant amount.”
Why don't they just air it on every day of the week and be done with it? Talk about showing signs of creative bankruptcy.
NBC should be a warning to our broadcasters over here about what can happen if you put who your eggs in a basket of aging shows but are they listening? That's debatable to say the least.
Last night's figures in the UK were generally poor - EastEnders is only matching Emmerdale on share (to be fair the 7pm episode did well though the 8pm episode fell back a bit as per usual), Young Apprentice is hardly lighting up the schedules and Hunted is slowly sliding away. Meanwhile, on ITV1 everyone is just waiting for the end of the dire Homefront and Emmerdale at 40 is being used to fill an awkward gap which should have been filled by now. The Chase recorded a great figure, though. On the bright side, Hatfield and McCoys had good retention while BBC Two had a good night and The Human Mannequin didn't disgrace itself on Channel 4. Celebrity Juice is a very strong performer for ITV2.
