What cuisine are you into at the moment?
Last month for me it was Mexican / Tex-Mex.
I made pulled pork, chilli con carne. Had burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and just general wraps etc. This month looks like it's going to be Italian. Already made a couple of pizzas this month. Having a bolognaise type meal tonight. Will be having a chicken parm. and carbonara. Pizza. I watched a couple of shows the other day and they were packed full of US Italian diners and it's inspired me. |

Except for my foray into cupcakes last week, low(ish)-carb is the name of the game in my house.
I haven't felt particularly inspired either, but I did make some very tasty butter chicken on Sunday with roasted aubergine and a modest portion of cauliflower "rice". |

Absolutely anything - low fat & veggie. Having said that Indian is always my staple.

I'm having cauliflower 'rice' for dinner, with quorn stuffed peppers. Fast day today
![]() I was in Brugge two weeks ago, btw. I had the most delicious (and creamy) bowl of waterzooi on our last day- so good I wasn't even tempted by the bowl of fries staring me in the face. Came home and tried to replicate it, but failed miserably.

If home made vegetable soup is a 'cuisine' then I am very into that at the moment. Just polished off a bowl of sweet potato and cauliflower and tomorrow will make courgette and sweet potato Thai flavoured soup.

I like rice. It's one food I don't get sick of.
I do enjoy Chinese food with boiled basmati rice. I'm not a fussy eater though, I'd try most things. Had some delicious smoked haddock fishcakes from Tesco today. |

I'm really enjoying salads at the moment. It seems so long since we've had the weather or the quality produce to have a salad. Otherwise, homemade 'takeaways', if that makes sense. Burgers and fried chicken are so quick and easy to do. I've got lamb shanks etc in the freezer but it's just to hot cook and enjoy them at the moment.
