Tesco Mobile SIM in an O2 handset?

I know it's been possible (well, it used to be) to stick a Virgin Mobile Sim in a T-Mobile handset and get it to work without an unlock.

Is the same possible with O2 handsets & Tesco Mobile?

Also, with O2's 'X' range of handsets, can you enter new MMS & GPRS settings, say, if you went to another network?

Just to let you all know, I went and tried a Tesco mobile in some O2 handsets with the help of the local O2 shop and found that it worked in the handful I tried. With the rates that Tesco give you and at only £4.97 for a SIM you can't go wrong!

I just hooked up 3 low-user family members to Tesco Mobile this weekend, one on a Brand New 02 Sagem MYC5-2 I'd easily setup up for Tecso - no need for unlocking or anything!

10p per minute Cross Network calls & 5p Cross Network texts for your 3 favourite numbers or 20p & 10p cross network the rest of the time, 25p MMS plus free GPRS till the end of Feburary? Barg!

Tesco mobile uses the o2 network, thats why you dont have to unlock ur phones and also virgin uses the T-Mobile network
