So much angsty goodness in that episode

Very foreshadow-y, Brendans anger, Eoghan's "whatever happened in the past", still makes me wonder slightly if Eoghan knows.

Cheryls lip-liner was terrible in the last scene and Brendan got very Emmett sounding (if that makes sense)

All in all, I enjoyed it

"Thank you Stephen"
"I wunt even dancing for you"

I thought all the Egg stuff was really awkward. He was such a plot device, but oh well, he's gone.

Maybe it was all just about showing it's gone beyond jealousy. Egg and Doug are irrelevant. It's about just wanting the one you really want. Ste knows Brendan doesn't really want Egg. And Brendan's starting to know Ste doesn't really want Doug. So it's all good stuff.

Awkward to see Ste taking refuge in Doug so desperately though.

All Doug actually saw was that Brendan was in the deli, and he still had a mega whinge.

I mean he is right and all that but he doesn't know he is right.

So, Egg was pure plot device really to move things along. The only thing he really brought was the idea that Brendan has been like this since forever and something else damaged him

I am excited at the thought of counselling

Ste's lies were so obvious when he was talking to Doug though.

Ste saying he can't stop him from coming in.

Yeah, but you also did stop him from leaving Ste

I kind of love that Ste and Brendan are terrible dancers, I mean we've seen quite a few of their dance moves. Someone should make a gif set

I did laugh that as soon as doug got out of the taxi the first thing is face did was drop all he needed was for the lip to wobble and the tears to be filling is eyes and we would of had the full set

It was shocking. Like, half way up her face shocking. It even distracted me from Brendan and that's no easy task.

You know, I thought both Brendan and Ste were written well tonight, but I was really impressed with Ste in particular.

I suppose it just surprised me to see him behaving so maturely over the whole thing. And I liked that it was his words that resonated with Cheryl, and made her give Brendan one more chance.

I can't wait until next week now.

I find him really hard to watch. He seems so pathetic. I don't need him to be some big macho guy, but I thought he'd come back a bit more head held high than that.

I laughed at Brendan's reaction to the counselling. And judging by the way he cracked tonight, this could be really dramatic.

It was half done on the top and half done on the bottom, on opposite sides. Pet hate that is, do it properly or leave it natural.

The thing is that if Cheryl does ever find out she will either disown him anyway because she doesn't believe him or it will destroy her family.

He is pretty much in a no win situation.

Poor Brendo.

So was the Stendan moment full of sexual tension?

I didn't think about it like that, but you could be right.

I think, especially after seeing how grown up Ste was today, Doug just comes across as quite immature. Which doesn't help. They're just terribly wrong for each other.

I though Ste was gonna be singing to Cheryl Cole. He was dancing but it wasn't to Cheryl was it?

Through out the whole Stug scene I was just there 'Ste and Brendan go to Dublin' with a smile on my face.

My mum was really confused as to why I was smiling at Doug being back

Yes, it really was. Brendan said that sometimes what you really want is right in front of you, and walked right up close to Ste and looked right into his eyes.

It made you hold your breath. Tension doesn't even cover it. It was Hyper-Tense.

Oh, he is going to be so good at the counselling. I really want them sat side by side on the sofa facing out (like they did on Bones)

It was half done on the top and half done on the bottom, on opposite sides. Pet hate that is, do it properly or leave it natural.
I also laughed at half her hair on the bedside table when she was in bed - no wonder Stephen turned who'd want wobbly lip liner and half a head of hair when you could have Brendan

doug is just like us, he is obsessed with stendan too
He is!

Yes. Plenty of tension in the deli scene.

Total contrast to Ste and Doug. I just hate their dynamic together.

I think they rushed that last deli bit, almost as soon as Brendan moved towards Ste you could hear the taxi pull up.

Took me right out of the moment it did.

I think at first she wont believe him but she wont have any choice in the end. I think Bronagh has already said she finds something out at Xmas that changes her life forever so I assume she will believe it in the end as much as she really wont want to, cant imagine how awful that will be for her.

Poor both of them really. Brendan because the last thing he will want is Cheryl knowing and Cheryl because she will basically be destroyed.
