Some BBC channels missing

A week or so ago we noticed that BBC 3&4 and a couple of other BBC channels were no longer working or 'receivable'. I did a Freesat retune on the Humax menu last night and they all came back.

Had something changed with the BBC channels a week or so ago?

PS. We are lucky enough to have two Humax Freesat receivers and it was the same on both.

Yes - some moved tranponders. Do you place you Foxsats in standby at night? - mine picked up the changes during the overnight houskeeping wakeup.

Thanks for your reply, 'No' we don't put the boxes into standby because we got fed up with the amount of time it takes the box to come out of standby and into 'operational' mode.

Set a start up timer around half an hour or so before you normally watch and save some money as well as having an up to date box.

Oh. I didn't realise there was a menu setting for this. Can you tell me where I can find it in the menu structure please?

Thanks very much for bringing those menu settings to my attention. I've now set the box to power off at 0130 and power on at 1700.

Sometimes I program the box to record programmes on BBC4 in the early hours of the morning due to clashes earlier in the evening. Will the box still make these recordings if it is in power off mode?
