From what I've seen so far, I don't think so. But it could go there I suppose

I thought about his too while I was watching today. At this point, it could go either way.

Hopefully not full blown PND (or the psychosis that Claire in Corrie had). Maybe just the "baby blues", and she'll get over it fairly quickly and forge a nice relationship with Nikhil's (is that how you spell it??) mum (whose name escapes me right now!)

I don't think so. Just feeling overwhelmed and a little out of her depth, plus having the stress of her sister's arrest and her own guilt at covering up the Chasmeron affair.

She isn't the most confident of people at the best of times and has been worrying about becoming a Mum in recent weeks. I think she's just completely overwhelmed at the moment and in the shadow of Georgia, the classic overbearing future mother in law. It's probably just a period of adjustment for Gennie and she'll soon settle in to motherhood. Given that she was hormonally miserable for much of her pregnancy, I'm not really sure they could get away with further endless months of post natal depression for the character. It's most likely a temporary glitch. Give it a week or two and she'll doubtless be stressing out about something else instead.

I realise I must have missed something weeks ago, but where is Brenda?? Surely she should be with her daughter now that she has had a baby and be eager to help, but I don't actually remember her even being mentioned! Her absence is so far fetched in all of this!

Is that to go with the pre natal depression she obviously had?
And the pre, pre natal depression she had before that?? The girl could win £45mill on the Euro Lottery & would still moan it wasn't £50m. |

Brenda went on holiday to visit TJ after she broke up with Pollard. She has been mentioned several times this week. Her passport was stolen which has delayed her return.

Even if Gennie does suffer from post-natal depression, you wouldn't notice the difference anyway as she's miserable as hell anyway. I don't know who's more miserable, her or Debbie. But then again, half of the Emmerdale characters are miserable anyway to be fair. |

I don't know. She seemed just like a regular first time mum adjusting to the new baby.
She seems quite chipper and upbeat too considering the big pain in the arse that's moved into the house. |

Ah, ok thanks, I obviously missed it. A lot going on here lately and so not able to devote proper attention to the soaps!
