BluRay player problem - Windows 7
Hi all
Got a weird problem with the blu ray player on my friends pc after a reinstall of windows, it used to be Vista and now running 7. Basically some blu ray's seem to play fine, but others just refuse to play, at the moment we are using Da Player where The Dark Knight will play without any issues, but trying to play rock of ages / Avatar just crashes the program Anyone any ideas? Cheers Marc |

You should see if there is an update for the Blu-ray playing software. It might not be the same issue, but I found that my software (which dated from 2009) wouldn't play some recent Blu-rays (mainly Disney ones) until I updated the software. Something to do with players needing new keys every few years, or something, to work with the latest discs. I can't quite remember the details, but something like that.
