Vice City 10th Anniversary Edition Announced
Sorry to be late here folks, always forget about DS in the rush. OK, Rockstar Games have Today announced that they will be releasing Grand Theft Auto: 10th Anniversary Edition for iOS and Android Devices later this fall, ...autumn.
What does this mean? Well just like Grand Theft Auto III 10th Anniversary Edition, the entire game will be available to play on your Mobile Phone, all the mayhem, the music, the action, etc for a nice affordable price and available on the go. So anyone looking forward to this? http://media.rockstargames.com/rocks...1351205673.jpg |

I'd rather it was in the PSN store. I don't like the controls on pad devices.
Is it on PSN?

The release date has now been announced, December 6th, and the game is priced at a mere $4.99, here's a list of the compatible devices:

Nice! Will definitely be picking this up as it's my favourite GTA game. Hopefully the soundtrack (particularly the rock station from my perspective) will be as it was originally too.

Like the idea, but bought GTA 3 on my phone (which runs great of course) and barely got past the first few missions. Better on tablets I guess; the only places I play games are on when travelling - so casual games work better - or at home, when I have my PC to play on a big screen.

I can't wait for this. I still give it the odd bash on the PS2, being able to play it on the move would be amazing.
I finally got around to downloading GTA 3 on my Nexus 7 earlier so I shall be using that to keep me occupied for now. |

Impressed they haven't gone down the IAP route for power ups etc.

I'm loving how theres hardly any load times. In The PS2 days didn't the main game world load take like 45 seconds, now it's like 10. Also on PS2 when you went into a new region it would pause and have like a 5 second 'welcome to ...' pop up screen. Now it's just 1 second freeze in gameplay before the new area loads up.

Why is it more expensive on Android?
I'll probably get it for the nostalgia, GTA: Vice City was the reason I bought my PS2. |
