I'm trying to record 20 minutes [ the newspaper reviews ] of The Wright Stuff every Mon-Fri , apart from recording the whole show every day I can't see how to do it.

Do this if you don't want to record the entire program :

Functions / Timer recording / OK to confirm new timer / use the green fastext to go to weekly and set your start - stop times .

You are going to have to set one of these manual recordings for each day !!

Sorry that's the best I can come up with , but why not just use the series link and "visual search" past the bits you don't want to view ?

Once you have pressed green for weekly recordings you can choose individual days, or if you keep going up/down you can set mon-fri too. This will record at whatever time you set on mo-fri every week until you tell it not too.

Thanks, I can see the green date/weekly button but it doesn't respond.

I may have to go back to factory settings.
