I've just read news that Dear Russell is going to be on It Takes Two tomorrow night, what a treat, I hope Anne is on Fridays show.

Does 'Good old Sir Terry Wogan' still take his fee for the night?
Having Widdy and dear Russell dancing for Children In Need is bound to make a big difference in the amount of funds raised. " Russell Grant, Widdecombe return to 'Strictly' for Children in Need " " Children in Need's Appeal Night will feature a Strictly Come Dancing special with former show favourites Russell Grant and Anne Widdecombe. " " Widdecombe will partner with Anton Du Beke and Grant will reunite with Flavia Cacace to provide "an unmissable performance". "I'm thrilled to be back on Children in Need as I was in the first one ever!" said Grant. "And to be dancing with Flavia once more is a Strictly dream come true. A fantastic cause doing something I love! Everyone's a winner!" " http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s104/...n-in-need.html |

TBH I'm disappointed Russell has chosen to elect comparisons with the bigoted blob in this way. I can believe he is doing it out of genuine enthuasism for the show and charity, whereas TBB's 'retirement' in television after politics - which Strictly was meant to kick-start - has dropped off recently, and she probably hopes to get a few more bookings by refreshing peoples' memories of how "entertaining" she was, because she clearly held so much of the show in contempt.
But I think Russell would have been better off leaving it as was (barring an occasional appearance on ITT) - he showed he had some genuine dancing ability, looked like he was genuinely loving everything, made an impression but bowed out before he knocked out anyone who didn't deserve to leave before he did. Gosh, that was a negative post even for one about Ann Widdecombe. I should probably get some sleep. |

Anne and Dear Russell are doing a marvelous job for charity by taking to the dance floor again for Children in Need, I'm hoping that Lulu will be on the bill too. |

Terry, I may not agree with your posts but you certainly make me smile. Please say Lulu's not coming back though - Russell I liked, Widdy I could ignore, but Lulu really was bad.

Oh dear. Reasons not to watch - Widdecombe.
Reasons to watch - the darling cuddly Russell. Anyone see him the other night - and glad to see how fit he is still looking? The main difference between them - if we had seen Russell dance 20 years earlier and five stone lighter, he might have been a real contender. Widdecombe....I would never have voted for her as a politician - and as a dancer .....NEVER! |

Dear Russell has tweeted today that the battle lines are drawn to decide who 'The Peoples Champions' of Strictly Come Dancing are, we know that with the influence of the judges and the dance off 'The Peoples Champions' don't always get to take away the glitter ball.
Dear Russell and Widdy will both always be 'The Peoples Champions' for me. " @THERussellGrant So battle lines are drawn! It's @FlaviaCacace and me v. Ann and Anton to decide who are the @bbcstrictly People's Champions #childreninneed " https://twitter.com/THERussellGrant #ChildrenInNeed |

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/...-being-a-fatty Yep, there's the Great Titted Trout being so undiplomatic yet again, calling Lisa a fattie. The woman is hideous. |

Widdecombe, as prisons minister, defended the Government's policy to shackle pregnant prisoners with handcuffs and chains when in hospital.
Widdecombe has expressed her support for a reintroduction of the death penalty, which was abolished in the UK in 1965. National treasure? National disgrace more like. |

I went into meltdown on a daily basis on here the year she was on Strictly. Game old bird having a laugh on a Saturday night ? Nothing could be further from the truth. |

tried to delete my earlier message as it's being swallowed up by the controversy around Ann's column but it's too late to delete or edit it, it seems.

Don't forget she is anti abortion, became a Catholic because she disagrees with the ordination of women and she thinks homosexuality is an abomination of nature.

I disliked Ann and to a lesser extent Russell. I shall have to avoid both of them if possible.

Poetry in motion indeed, I'm just so excited thank you, the vision of Widdy flying back on to the Strictly Come Dancing dancefloor as a white angel is perfection. |
