Who do they possibly imagine the 'Comedy' VTs appeal to?

Unfunny, unnecessary, irrelevant, badly produced, demeaning to the celebrities and professionals; and, which is worse, they really are starting to drag down the tone and standard of the whole show.

Why does Bruce even say 'here they are in training' ? Surely he should say 'here they are acting so ridiculous that you'll want to poke your eyes out with a pencil'.

Does anyone actually enjoy the 'sketches' ?

10 year olds apparently. I would rather sit through an hour of Brucies stand up!

Brain-damaged individuals?

I've no idea, I muted the TV after the first two.

It's one of my major issues with SCD now.... I always used to look forward to the training VT. Now I just sit and cringe, or better still fast forward through it. In fact as I also fast forward through any Bruce bits, Tess bits..... And the group dance as its now normally poor too. Watching SCD takes me about 10 mins now!

They are bloody awful and are ruining the show for me along with Brucie's jokes.

It's turned into some ridiculous sketch show. I bet the participants hate doing them.

I have absolutely no clue who thinks they are a good idea, or that themed nights are a good idea either.

Just watching X Factor, and it started with comedy VTs and Thriller. Feel like tonight's Strictly all over again!

Anyway to answer the question - I think they're aiming for the same demographic as the X Factor i.e. younger than their average. I never watch them - use them for loo and food breaks. Looks like I didn't miss anything tonight!

I think everything in moderation. Trying to do these things for each celeb every week is just too much -ideas get drained very quickly. They should do two or three each week (possibly involving meeting someone close to the celeb) and alternating the celebs-with all the rest concentrating on the training. Why there is this saturation of, in the end, pointless vt is difficult to fathom.

And all the VTs had exactly the same theme./story tonight -Halloween.:yawn::yawn:

What gets me is that there's not even half an hour's actual dancing in the live show, so they pad it out with these dreadful VTs and yet the show *still* overruns and the bit they cut to make up time is the judges' comments, which is the whole point of the show!

I wouldn't mind if the 'comedy' VTs were actually funny or entertaining. Enough
