I think this year it's really poor and it's struggling -

Do you think it's time to rest it?

I have watched every year - but feel this year really is a bit poor

It's topping the ratings so it's not going to be axed.

I still think this series has potential.

If everything was cancelled at the first sign of trouble, humanity would certainly not be where it is today...

No, just the usual first few weeks sorting the wheat from the chaff.

There are at least 5 good contenders!

It remains one of the country's highest rated shows ten series on. If you don't like it, don't watch. That's the simple rule I use for 99% of what's shown on telly.

Never - it's the BBC's flagship show,

I'm enjoying it. there's the celebs I can take the mickey out of and the good ones, just like always.

But this series is great for me because they're constantly staggering from great to awful and back again. It's very unpredictable and I like that.

No - every viewer has a choice. If you don't like it turn over.

No way we've got people with potential and also some surprises - whoever would have guessed we'd have Lisa topping the leaderboard in week one or Micheal scoring more than Denise.

is that not a bit extreme? Slight over reaction

Um, it's currently enjoying its best ratings ever and if it continues like this could end up the highest-rated series of Strictly yet.

That's right, and we all love it so much. Saturday nights are awful when Strictly's not on, especially if you're ancient and like to be in bed by 10. But can we just ditch the ghastly VTs, themed nights back to back, and the bulky props and get back to lovely dresses, lovely traditional music and proper dances.

I enjoy the program but hate all the crap inbetween and the increasingly cheesy aspect of the show. I really have found it difficult to stay focused on the show so far this season. I just wish they would cut out all the dreadful little films and just show the dancing. The show is just too long at the moment.

Not at all, in fact we should also deport half the pro dancers and trash tess' house. I demand it be so.

There seems to be an awful lot of chaff this year and there is very little dancing ability combined with personality which is very depressing.

They'll never pull a show that's getting 11 million viewers every week.

Agreed - they could actually make the dances slightly longer instead of all the stupid 'what pranks we played in training' nonsense.
I do think that the judges standards have dropped though - was watching some of Kara and Artem's dances earlier and the judges were giving lower scores for much better dancing in that series

Well as you aren't happy I'm sure the BBC will be happy to cancel a show that is enjoying an incredibly successful series and is actually winning the ratings war with The X-Factor.

I thought it looked tired a couple of weeks ago when Len had a go at Kimberley for her performance which looked ok to me.

I think it would be worse without Craig who does at least give a thorough overview of all of the performances.

I'm not sure about these themed weeks though. Louis performance last week was more about 'Dirty Dancing' than Salsa and Fern's Charleston was terrible - all about Mary Poppins.

I don't think this week was any better overall.

Maybe there's room for a spin-off competitive no celebrity "Come Dancing" show on BBC2 or BBC3 to demonstrate good dancing rather than act as PR vehicle for "C" list celebrities.

Absolutely not, don't know what I'd do without my Strictly fix

Good God NO! it is still the best reality show ever.

Scrap the X Factor, Big Brother, Towie, and I'm a Celebrity, but NEVER Strictly!!

There's too many couples, so the series drags on far too long..
The reason of course, is entirely due to the BBC who are obsessed with beating ITV each week in the ratings.

I think we should also consider crucifying Len.
