Killing me softly by Jahmene - Killing/murder I guess?

Sweet dreams by James - the only thing I can think of is the gothic marilyn manson version, very spooky

Bring me to life by Ella - generally by a dark rock band and the words are quite gothic 'cold' etc

Monster by district 3 - monsters...

christopher sang something about dying/killing...

ok getting hard to remember the others

'Halloween week' is always laughable.

Mary Byrne singing 'Could It Be Magic' with devil horns was a highlight.

"(I Just) Died in Your Arms" - a classic '80s song by Cutting Crew that he totally murdered.

I like it too, and would have been fun to see Rylan performing it

They could have had Monsters stomping all over the stage, but the show lacked imagination.

Unless they delved into the goth/metal genres (unlikely for X factor) the list of Halloween hits to choose from is actually very lw. Guess it's more about the costumes/atmosphere.

James did this the best IMO.

I was quite impressed they put the well known song about stalking on scary week not love week as tends to happen.

There were better suggestions on the forums for song choices this week to be honest. It's kinda hard to think of songs for Halloween. Maybe some artists should make some dark/Halloween songs? Rihanna - Halloween album would be epic.

Only one I think stuck to the theme was Bring me to Life by Ella and James' Sweet Dreams.

It's the same every week.

Halloween Week = Any song you like but with extra eyeliner and zombie backing dancers

Disco Week = Any song you like but with a glitterball and dancers of roller skates.

Motown Week = Any dong you like whilst wearing monochrome and a bob wig.

80's Week = Any song you like whilst wearing a mullet wig and shoulder pads.

You get the picture?

Christopher should have sung Hammer Horror by Kate Bush.
Or maybe Devil Woman by Cliff or would that have been too cutting edge for him?

Scary - Britney Spears
I Put a Spell on You
Thriller
A Rocky Horror song (Would highlight the Performance aspect of a contestant)
Ghostbusters (a la Jedward)
Rihanna - Disturbia
Zombie - The Cranberries
Monster - Lady Gaga
Better the Devil you Know ()
Or just begin a performance with some Halloweeny type mashup (Addams Family theme, Rihanna's Madhouse Intro, etc.)
