So sick of the ladies using this tired non phrase everytime someone sings a bloody song.

Oh, and me! Is it an Americanism? Really irritates me and it should only be used in ballet terms - i.e. "en pointe".

Indeed...I'm sure they think it makes them sound clever..it really doesnt.
