Everything about tonight was sabotage.

From the VT (featuring Lucy), to the song choice, to the costume, and to the comments. I just watched her video now and cannot believe she got such a ridiculous song.

Ella also got a song which didn't suit her at all, so I don't think you can conclude that Jade was sabotaged.

It was a good choice for her, and was her best performance so far on the live shows.

Jade is on borrowed time like I said yesterday she escaped the bottom 2 via the sympathy vote. She won't be so lucky this week say goodbye Jade your time has ran out.

Gary and Nicole's comments to her were strange : almost as if they were reading out the producers' script as to how "bad" she had been.

There was nothing wrong with the song, just her performance of it. It was very awkward and uncomfortable, it looked like she was forgetting her words and panicking. Maybe it was the outfit, maybe not, something was wrong tonight.

She wasn't sabotaged, nobody to blame but herself if she goes. I don't think the public are warming to the "I have a child and we don't have a garden" non-story that is her sob story.

I suppose I was waiting for the "Gasp - Oh God she's as good as Leona Lewis" moment.

She wasn't sabotaged, and that's coming from someone who really wants Jade to win. I think due to the unique tone in her voice, they're trying so desperately hard to find her niche that isn't a carbon copy of Rebecca Ferguson. (Just like how dance numbers were a hit for Alexandra Burke) It's just a case that the niche they've decided is hers isn't what necessarily suits her voice. It isn't sabotage, it's trying to find her place in the music industry, which they haven't found yet.

I thought that too. Everything seemed channeled to give a negative feel towards her. I thought this would be Lucys treatment this week but with her off sick it seems Jade got it instead. Just seemed classic X Factor, getting rid of what they consider fodder, happens every year.

Me being from the USA, and being a 90s r&b girl I know the song jade did very well, that song had nothing to do with the theme at all like not even close, I don't mind giving her a dance song, it could have been something like Rihanna's Disturbia or something. Why would u give her Adina Howards freak Like Me lol when she first started singing I was like what a random song choice.

I think they have thrown her under the bus to a certain extent, but also they or Jade herself don't seem to be sure of what direction she wants to go. Turning her into a mini Rhianna doesn't work, so maybe time will tell after the show has finished to see if she has any longevity in the music industry. I like her though so I hope she does make it.

I felt sorry for Jade, I didn't even recognise the song with the arrangement they'd given her. I think the producers want her out because she's probably more popular than their chosen one.

I think jade has been a fantastic but underrated singer, however last night she was poor and might be in trouble. Also very tired of her "I'm a mother in a tower block and want a garden for my daughter." Its soooo old. It's also hypocritical as it now turns out she has a female partner who she has been in a long term relationship with for six years. She is clearly being portrayed as a single mother week after week, but she's not. To me it makes the VTs where she harps on about it being just her and her daughter seem hollow.

But the problem is that she failed to perform it - a good singer would have made the best of it.

I absolutely got the same feeling. Nicole's comments were really OTT considering how sugary she's been all along to the acts. Jade's reaction definitely gave the impression she knew her time was up. Such a shame, she has an amazing quality in her voice, I really hope she gets at least one more week, she has the voice, she's goodlooking...damn, I'm really feeling for her.

She was not good last week or this week, if she is out then she is out

Agreed, all the other contestants seem to get criticized a lot when they have one off performance but it never seems to matter if Jade messes up.

Yes, she doesn't seem to be getting the same treatment on here as Ella yet she was far worse last night. Very strange.

I like Jade - she is the only one that looks like a pop star. However, her performance last night lacked any oomph or energy and she was as wooden as a plank.

I don't think she is sabotaged - it's her own fault for delivering such a lacklustre performance. Any decent singer/performer would make the best of any song they were given and at least put some enthusiasm into it. She failed to do that last night.

I don't want her to go home though. There are far worse ones than her still left.

Jade has so much potential she just needs to be given the right songs the first two weeks of the live shows she got given two songs that suit her well especially love is a loosing game but the past 2 weeks she has been given bad song choices that don't suit her in which she looks uncomfortable if she survives this week she needs to go back to songs and arrangments that suit her.
