That might have been the real reason for the ambulance before.

A little 'accident' back stage.

lolz!! i give allowance for those who doesn't get james... but believe me, for us who do, it is a delightful, cathartic experience...

Or maybe it's the fact that he feels uncomfortable on stage after his performance. When people are nervous, they have certain mannerisms. Jahmene has his little snigger, and unfortunately James finds it difficult to smile because maybe, just maybe, he is feeling a little anxious. Just a thought. Why do you care anyway...X Factor's a joke!.

I think he is really insecure and he doesn't know how to take compliments. I think he doesn't smile because he's always been self conscious about his teeth and so trained himself not to show them. But he comes across as miserable, surly or even arrogant because of it. It's no fun watching someone who doesn't seem to be having fun themselves.

I bet if you ran up to him and told him his jacket was on fire he would just shrug his shoulders and say so,what times countdown on?

lolz...

brings to mind why they have to come up with sayings like:

"one man's medicine..."

"to each his own"

... amongst others...

Yeah right, lets disqualify him for failure to apprecaiate good comments.

We cant be having artists with attitude in the music biz, now tug your forelock and say a humble 'thank you sire' to Gary before the DS police come and get you James.

Sad sad sad sad sad sad sad - pick the one that fits you best.

Totally agree with you, james isn't acting big headed. Seems to me like he just wants to perform and what will be will be

I love his "Aiden Grimshaw memorial serial killer face". But he really should learn how to breath during perfomances.

I think it's as simple as this; James is self conscious about his looks as it can sometimes come across as arrogance. He hardly ever smiles showing his teeth. Give the poor lad a break.

I can think of many a bod in the music industry who have no time for tv niceties. People confuse that with a lack of personality. I think the OP may have done so too. He's fine.

Shame he hasn't an original bone in his body

Or maybe James doesn't want the world to see his horrible green teeth.

I agree and I really think he will be in the top three and good on him. He has a good voice, can sing different genres and having seen him perform (and having a great time) with Labyrinth, I think he will definitely sell concert tickets.

James FTW
