The problem was clearly down to Freesat transmitting the wrong time. Not a clue why your box is not now showing the correct time, afaik everyone else's is. It was corrected sometime on Tuesday (I don't have the clock on, it's a waste of energy for me, plenty of other clocks).
There is no slow motion button VOD freezing is most likely down to your internet connection or network link being too slow. |

No "slo mo" key on the R/C (that I can see), so how are you trying/expecting to get it?

According to the manual there should be, it says hold down the play button during playback of a recording.

As I said it states in manual, if you press the play button when playing back a recording it should activate slo mo
I have occasionally used Slow-Mo on my Foxsat, so I would actually like this feature to work on the 1000s. (I don't suppose the manual mentions a way to add bookmarks ? |

![]() Something very strange going on. Can you tune to channel 407, then check signal strength and quality on tuner 1 ? Settings - System Information - Signal Info. |

I think I actually prefer the previous remote, I'd got 2 of the Foxsat HDR 500 remotes as the OH likes to have her own (1 each..lol) so I've found myself using the older remote more than the one supplied with the 1000S even tho it's less sensitive. I prefer the feel of the buttons a bit more on the old one, I'm getting on a wee bit and have arthritis in my hands/fingers and I find the main buttons.. ie the one's that click require a bit more pressure.

I don't think the HDR 1000s supports slo-mo, I've certainly not found a button that does it. Tho I'm not too bothered about that.
I think there are however important omissions from the older model which needs to be added, one important one being the option to lock recorded files so they cannot be deleted without a pass code, and of course the ability to sort channels by type. Hopefully future updates will address this and other issues and maybe even speed up the EPG tho I doubt it, IMO the EPG is still a little slow. Also, though the channel identification icons on the left may look a little nicer, does anyone think as a result it is now not so easy to identify the channel names, IOW the text stating 'Channel Five' is clearer than some small channel symbol especially if some distance from the box. |

Can anyone tell me how you get the clock to display on the front panel of the Humax 1000s ? I had to do a factory reset and lost the front display of the clock as a result. I looked in Settings, but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

your welcome, i dont have mine displayed as i have plenty clocks in the front room lol, only thing i would like now is for the freesat box to start up as quick as it did before the youtube update
I have a problem with the replay buffer (caused by a series of power cuts, which I think trashed the file which holds it.) my time is about 4 secs longer than standard. I will reformat at some point after I have setup my schedule on the Foxsat and watched the existing stuff. |

I rather think the extra time on your unit is down to new code to handle hard disk problems - the time seems to be be quite constant on most units.

yeah well is strange that for all the time the tv screen and the front the hdr is blank i can hear they HDD rattling so to speak.... so would a re-format the HDD solve this problem and so then start up faster.....also would formatting the HDD lose all my scheduled recordings.....
Your schedule should remain intact but all your recordings would go. If you go ahead please let us know how you get on. |

I rather think a reformat would unless the disk really does have surface problems - the chances of this are very small.
