Instead of Lucy staying in automatically going through..

How should they have handled it? Played her last performance and open her phone line anyway, with her not there or drugged up for the result? asked her to leave and annoy and refund those who voted for her? I agree that it's unfair on the others but what could they really have done? They'll probably put her on last next week.

In all probability they could simply have had no-one perform this week and the votes would still be the same.

Because there has been a precedent of someone else having a sickie they couldn't do anything else but what they did.

What they should do is not send any act home this week and carry the votes for Saturday's performances into next week.
If Lucy is still sick, then she should be disqualified.

I rememember on American Idol some years back they did this. It's something XF bosses should consider in the event of an act being ill - it's much more fairer on the other contestants.

Double eviction next week - none this week.

I'm not convinced by the 'severe flu' story but then I am very cynical about manipulation in XF.

If she is too ill next week she has to withdraw from the show - hopefully that will allow a wildcard to replace her.
