And she did it very well. And I thought that Pasha Doble last night was weird and not interesting at all. I just don't think everything is gelling whereas Pasha seemed to get everything working with Chels from the off. I hope I'm wrong and she can emerge as a strong contender which will help the show but I don't feel the heart and soul very much.”

Yep, we want the heart and soul. I don't think that's too demanding

I agree with everything. The show needs Kimberley and Pasha to come alight. Denise is terrific, but we're wary because of earlier experience. Lisa seems stalled. The show needs a groundswell of enthusiasm or joy to come from another couple (who I would like to be Kimberley and Pasha) because otherwise it's a cake walk for Louis, and that's not an attack on him. It's simply that it's way too soon to be able to point to the winner.

I sense that it is 'set up' for Flavia to win. As much as I would like the medium stringers to sustain and shoot up in standard to contend for the title, realistically I don't think it's possible. Denise has no chance in the vote. It's only Kim and Pasha, but I wish he could have replicated Artem's feat of winning first time out, because that might have been his best chance.

Where exactly did I say it was her fault?

I didn't say you could. But that doesn't mean the public, and particularly the media, don't. And quite a lot of the public pay attention to the media, rightly or wrongly.

Why would it be set up for a particular pro to win? Especially one who doesn't do the tour anymore. The producers have shown time and time again that they're more fussed about the celebrities than the pros. Set up for Louis to win, maybe, but Flavia winning is accidental in that.

And you can't make a statement like 'Denise has no chance in the vote' as you have no evidence for that whatsoever. The voting patterns and the opinions on this board do not necessarily correlate.

There is something about Kimberley that always been
so bland and zzzzzzzz dreary .#when she comes on I leave the room and make a cup of tea ~and I don't feel like I am missing anything~~she just does nothing that interests me.

Not too long ago she was equally boring when she was supposed to be interviewing people on some red carpet ~and she was useless and had little to say #apart from asking them all ~who [was the designer of their dresses]...2 they were wearing
She was totally out of her depth ~and mostly smiled awkwardly She looked as if she was bored with herself !!! and knew that she was useless
.She was totally boring :yawn: from start to finish there too

Well, OK I accept that, but both I think, just that I think Flavia has got so close before, served her time,(a long time) and they've been put on at the end twice, had the most publicity in the press re Dirty Dancing etc. Hey if ita ll goes pear shaped in the voting then that's another thing, it's just that I feel they are the couple getting 'pushed' by the production. At the moment.

Also, the pro is more than accidental, they are instrumental. And I freely admit, that while I find Louis as exciting as this wet weekend, Flavia is mesmerising, hell, I love watching her, though I've turned on big time to Nat this year, for many reasons that's been gone into. Her genuine joy and teamwork with Michael is a pleasure to see.

I really think Denise has no chance of winning. I take a random sample of SCD watchers in the outside world, and they are unanimous in that.

Well comparing a Quickstep, a Tango and a Paso is hard (for me) but just looking at them in different aspects I thought the entertainment value was better with Micahel, the improvement aspect more noticeable with Michael, again, as too Victoria, and the techniquie (imo) better with Kimberley. To me, Kimberley was a better technician in her dance but lacked an emotional aspect, whereas I think Michael and Victoria performance slightly more but probably could have executed better. But having said that I liked all three dances in the difference ways and, along with Louis, felt these four couples produced quite well on the night overall (despite the individual flaws). Denise and Lisa performed lower than my expectation of them (in relation to their individual standards of dance ability) but I still appreciated what they did perform and execute well.

Kimberely is nice, average girl who doesn't go in for histrionics . She is the same in Girl's Aloud. She is never going to light up the dance floor like Kara Tointon or Alesha Dixon. Then again I hope she proves me wrong .

I'm kind of indifferent to Kimberely and Pasha, not liking their pairing at all. I much preferred him with Chelsea.

In terms of entertainment I much preferred Micheal and Vicky.

I have no strong feelings either way on Kimberley, which could be a problem for her in the later stages if others feel the same. Which reading this thread plenty appear to,

You didn't. I'm saying it.

I thought Kimberley danced quite well, but it certainly didn't seem like a proper paso to me. I didn't feel that there was any fire or drama in it.

I didn't think it was undermarked, the score was quite generous if anything.

Yes, I agree entirely that they're the couple being pushed the most by the producers, but I don't think it's for Flavia's sake. Louis is the household name after this summer, so much as I love Flavia, I think they're pushing Louis, not her.

Of course they are, but Flavia's not the only pro on the show, and other pros who could have danced with Louis (in terms of height) have also proven themselves capable of getting to a final (Kristina) or, in fact, of winning (Ola and Aliona).

I love Flavia, but I don't believe the producers are showing her any favouritism particularly, and certainly not setting it up for her particularly to win.

Fair enough, of course you're entitled to believe that, just as much as I still feel she has a chance. It'll depend a lot on whether she ends up in a dance-off tonight (i.e. last night) or in the future. Even winners aren't always immune from the dance-off though - Alesha was there her QF week. So I personally don't think there's anything that indicates Denise has no chance of winning unless we see her in repeated dance-offs. Apart from that, she may or may not win, but that wouldn't be decided until the final itself. Anything can happen.
