It makes me weep how seriously Ste meant that line last night about not deserving Doug.

This relationship really has just been the fluffiest waste of time in terms of development for Ste.

I find children very easy to resist, so I'm slightly nervous about the Daisy scenes, but I'm not going to prejudge. I love how there's an accumulation of things happening to make Brendan take stock. I'm sure Father Des will have meatier scenes than the kid, and I LOVE Father Des, so I'm happy with that. I think the emotional impact will come from Brendan's journey rather than from Little Orphan Daisy.

I realte to Ste with the dyslexia (hate spelling it why does it have to be such a hard word to spell for people who have it???) as I have it and
when I went through my bad year The bully's teased me about it and made me infact lash out a little not as bad as ste plus I was very fragile in the era so anything tipped me off so yeah...
I get why ste did it but I can't still get over the shock

It was brilliant, wasn't it? So satisfying when they remember something like that about a character. I love how Kieron's doggedly remembered it over the years, and how sensitive Ste is about it. It was the perfect button for Doug to push to get a reaction.
