He released an album and a few singles but they di not do a swell as he hoped.
I think he us currently doing some appearances but don't know much more than that. Melanie Amaro recently released her new single but as farad I hear that was flopping. |

Marcus was the worst runner up this show has ever had. His first single was a dismal cover of a cover that made minimal chart impact and his follow up single peaked somewhere in the high 600s. He has no career.

Released an album full of covers back in March. Since then I believe he is working on the follow-up. I am quite surprised RCA didn't drop him considering how low his sales were. But i'm guessing he has a second chance to prove himself.
And Melanie Amaro.... well she's a massive flop aswell. A $5 million dollar recording contract is really nothing. A shame really because she had SO much potential but Syco/Epic had to ruin it for her. She could've been the next Whitney Houston/Mariah Carey type of singer. |

He's currently in a production of Hairspray, and his single's actually been a massive hit in Europe. I'm living in Barcelona at the minute and the only version of Seven Nation Army I ever hear is Marcus' - so not as bad as we think?

He's got a lead role in a national tour of Hairspray which will run from February next year which will help him to expand his fanbase while he records his 2nd album which I think is scheduled for release after the tour finishes next September.

9th in the UK charts 49th in Ireland 13th in Hungary. I'd hate to think what you consider a flop!

Initially his album produced by RCA was a hit at the time of release, it consisted of 11 songs and 3 of them were covers: "Seven Nation Army, Higher & Higher and Tightrope." I had contradictory feelings for Marcus whilst he was performing on the live shows; for example, I thought he was a great entertainer throughout his journey, but concurrently his range of innate vocal abilities for me seemed rather limited. His minor level of success has evoked odious memories of the insipid Ray Quinn, who was undoubtedly one of the least deserving runner-ups of all time.
