I expect most can't stand him, that seems to be the general sentiment. Even the Liverpool Echo felt the need to run an exposé on him.
![]() By the way, you seem ot be becoming worryingly obsessed with him, the sheer amount you post about it goes beyond the: "don't really care but have a laugh" into the realms of: "I think and write about this man far too much for my own good". I can't stand him either, but... |

I haven't seen anything negative posted about him in the Liverpool Echo, which report are you referring to?

As for the Liverpool Echo thing, revealing poor old nervous Lucifer who cries and needs his nan a lot has actually been entering talent competitions and winning them since the age of 16. On top of performing on cruise ships for years, and now at the ripe old age of 34. Well it hardly looks good. Do try and keep up. Quote:
Bannafish is well know for these type of posts. There is nothing obsessive about it. It's just his way.

I expect they'll be happy to have him on tour. District 3 or Kye departing this week would leave a plausible final 8 with most of the demographic boxes ticked. After that, Christopher, Lucy, Rylan and whichever remains out of Kye and the spare boy band will all be welcome to leave. Any threat of Lucy, Rylan or Christopher winning, and being the act to represent the UK competition at the US final, and the powers-that-be would start having kittens: but it's not going to happen. Though Christopher with Liverpool and grannies behind him is the hardest of those three to rule out, so perhaps there will be sighs of relief when he goes.

Thank you for the amateur psychologist attempt, but if you actually spent more time reading all my posts instead of yet another example of trying to discredit the messenger rather than address the message you'd see my interest in Lucifer goes into the whole mechanics of the show. As well as a dislike of people who play emotional blackmail with the public via reality TV.

Oh, not you as well
![]() The show is on the slide and is going to have massive changes next year already. Gary's exit being already set up in the papers, if you hadn't already noticed how blindingly obvious it has been on the show itself. Of course they want Lucifer on the show, because then people are voting for Lucifer and giving them money. And it's their hook to try and get viewers to watch it play out. He's the real controversy, not Rylan. They don't give a monkeys who wins, indeed the most successful and ones they have given most support and backing to didn't. Lucifer winning would actually play right into their hands because it gives them the story they are looking for to rebrand next year. The 10th year. The only ones to suffer are us having to endure him each week. And by him staying rewarding the most unbearable, desperate, and emotionally manipulative contestant since Dead Wife Man. The system can't be beaten by doing precisely what the system is telling you to do. After all these years you'd think people would have realised, you've seen it all before. Every year in fact, just not as manipulatively as this before. |

My faves are Lucy and Jahmene, and in a positive way, I want Lucy to pull off a win. However, she'd actually be a good, marketable winner (with an already successful single as proof), and you're all right that XF doesn't deserve that. They deserve more flops. So Christopher winning would be hysterical, and it would actually give Steve Brookstein a nice reprieve!

No amateur psychology attempt was being attempted, but your defensiveness speaks volumes. You are getting borderline obsessive with your constant lengthy posting about him though, you seem to devote an unhealthy amount of time to it. I do try and keep up, but unfortunately I don't seem to spare the vast majority of my spare time stalking him on the interwebs, so forgive my laxness in that area. Hourses for courses though I guess.

When it comes down to manipulative behaviour Angel I think you should look in the mirror. You just don't get it do you, so I will spell it out for you. The more people like you try and influence people with childish crap that you have tried to use to sway people's votes, they go the opposite. They put two fingers up to you and will always vote for the underdog. Whether that is the right result then no it is not. But that's for the people to decide not you. Chris has manipulated no one , he has put himself forward tried his best like the majority on the show , and it is the public that keep him in each week and will kick him out if they don't like what they see . But when you make it as personnel as you have made it , then there is no greater feeling to know the longer he stays in the more you get wound up. Christmas number one here we come ha ha

Nope. I'm sure they are pretty happy to have him in for now. They might even get enough people to feel sorry for him to make a rush-released album viable like they did with the McDonald Brothers.

Just been looking on Facebook and he seems to have fans in various other countries who have posted on there, including the States. I wonder how long he's been at this.

Amazingly, Chris generates interest in the show, therefore the producers are happy to keep him... for now. I'd be very surprised if he was beating Jahmene, Ella and James in the voting too. Just like Wagner, when Chris' time is up, he will go. Probably after he makes the final eight (and the tour).

I don't know what part of Liverpool you are from. But I'm afraid there is plenty of support for him in Liverpool. You must of missed the radio shows and the piece in the echo.
And ive not heard anything on the radio stations whatsoever, not like last year when juice FM played craigs version of jar of hearts to death. Can i ask what part of liverpool YOU are from? |

What confuses me about him is he's 34 but his who act and song choice make him appear 20 years older.
If he was 50 and doing what he does, I'd get it a bit more as he's be doing the songs that were big in his day but he's have only been in primary school when most of his song choices were out and they're hardly timeless classics. |

Of course not, the producers realise that Christopher is the best thing to ever come out of the show and would not be so stupid to try and sabotage him <3
