Again, as above, vocal groups are referred to band. And Westlife, all older than G4, and are men, get called "boyband".”

And I would have succeded too, if it wasn't for you meddling kid..........

But, are still men, in a group.

Well, perhaps as they have a classical approach, we should refer to them as a 'male quartet'

At the end of the day, does it matter? We've already established that G4 can't be pigeon-holed. Why not just call 'em 'G4' and be done with it

Low Rider jeans (just like britney's) - Topshop £36.00

Skimpy top one size too small (cause thats what the lads that hang around outside the chip-shop like) - French Connection £25.00

Gold Chain (bling like J-lo) - Argos £9.99

Big Hoop earrings (like michelle from big brother) - Elizabeth Duke - £12.50

People, I have to ask, is it really necessary to pick on a 13 year old? I'm afraid I don't like bullying, and that is what this looks like to me.

Just caught up with this thread. I'm one of the older members but I used to work in topshop too. And computers are great because you can talk to all kinds of people of all ages. You stick to your guns and don't let anyone talk you down. Your opinions are as important as anyone on this board and a great deal more sensible than some!

Too right... I've had hotel jobs and shop jobs throughtout being at school and uni.... the money has helped fund me through uni so I can get decent qualifications and do something with my life.... We all have to start somewhere... and being a teenager working part time in a shop really isn't that bad...

As for G4 being a boyband... if people refer to them as a "boyband" does it really matter? They are boys in a band or boys in a group, whatever.... A group of female singers is commonly referred to as a girl group, or girl band nomatter how old they are or what they sing... boyband is just a term which is used to describe a group of guys who sing together..... I don't see them as a typical boyband.. i.e. take that East17 etc.... but they *are* 4 guys in a group!
