I thought you had to be sixteen to work in shops like topshop etc, ie be on the payroll and have a national insurance number. I know when I worked in Safeway it was 16. Sorry, slightly off topic.

Me too!! I thought it was 14 for paper rounds, 16 for shops and 18 for serving in pubs...

I can't be nearly twice as old as top shop assistants...

You can do a paper round from 13
From 14 you cannot work more than two hours on a school day or 12 hours in a week when you go to school. You cannot work for more than 2 hours on a Sunday or more than five hours on a non school day that isn't a Sunday which rises to eight hours if over 15. You can't work before 7am or after 7pm. You can't work for more than 35 hours in a non school week. This doesn't apply to babysitting, doing odd jobs for family and friends, or working in sport, film, TV, modelling (although you need a licence to do that)

So i work on saturday, for about 2-4 hours helping out, that would be legal, right? (But maybe the alcohol isnt )

The alcohol is always excuseable!!!!!!!!! As long as you can remember the next day!I was too laazy to get a job till I was 16-so good on you for earning enough to buy a computer!

I didnt earn money for the computer, i just put some money towards it (my choice) as i didnt think it was fair on my parents to spend £3000 on me

Probably one with a good spec! I'm guessing good processor, decent video and sound card, lots of memory and hard drive space, am I right Lola?

Erm, couldnt tell you Jen, but i know it has a hard drive space, but i dont know how to use the rest!
And how old are you?
I only got a job because sometimes i get bored and need something to do..........but i've decided that i am going to work in an office when im older......And i love reading your posts too!.........Especially the ones on Team G4.......

Aww...don't you remember the Terrible Twosome? I would try and search to see if it was you I was talking with when either Chuh or penny called us the Terrible Twosome cos we were talking about our ideal school and the lessons we would have...but it won't let me search my own posts...GRR
