Its just a TV show
Every week you get the 'IM NEVER WATCHING THIS F*****G SHOW AGAIN' and 'ITS CLEARLY A FIX!' Threads
Conspiracy theories flying about everywhere and people spitting their dummies out left right and centre. Calm down. Its just a tv show and the more emotional you get about it, the happier the producers are going to be. |

People who still haven't grasped the futility of threads like this truly amaze me...

Its a TV show which relies on money from the public making phone calls to keep it going. If there's no transparency with the voting then people will inevitably question aspects of it. The judges just aren't consistent in their methods and change their reasons for keeping an act when it suits.

If it's just a TV show, why are you even bothering to create a thread on a forum about the show in question?!

My biggest problem is that the programme bills itself as a 'serious search for signing talent' and then gives us three hours of pantomime every week. They need to decide which of the two it is, as it can't be both at once. Either
A) admit it's an entertainment show, and continue the pantomime as usual or B) say it's a serious show, and revamp it to reflect its purpose. |
