He lives with his nan as sadly he lost his grandad not long ago,his nan asked him to move in as she felt lonely and frightened. But sadly you get the arseholes who think this is looking for sympathy. He was asked by the judges who he lives with and why,so he told them.the lad just cannot win.

Yep it's a TV show first, talent spotting second. As long as there is a few decent acts to make it credible then the formula works. Opportunity knocks and New Faces became dated in the end and so will this.

You can tell the producers dont like him, they always bring up negative stories and phone calls but we still cant get rid of him!

That's an unfair comparison. Steve at least has a credible soul voice. Christopher is the standard of a working man's club singer that does a part time job as a bingo caller.

This. Steve may have turned into a grumpy old man since being dumped by Syco but he did have a lovely voice. Christopher sounds like he didn't only sing on the cruise ship, he was also the foghorn
