Jade's Sing Off The Best Performance Of The Series
It was for me. I can't think of a better performance. I can't help but think that if they got rid of the ridiculous themes each week and let the acts sing what they want, then we'd see more talent. I thought Jade's sing off was beautiful and the tone to her voice is amazing. I'm gutted she was gone and upset with how she was treated too.

She was very good
Disgraceful that she's gone really ... not because Union J were rubbish ( they were good too, I thought ) The disgrace is the shite acts that were inexplicably voted into next week ( not forgetting the act that got there without having to even get out of bed for it ) |

Well, I personally preferred Carolynne's singoff, but Jade was definitely superior to Union J in that singoff.
Of course though, the singoff didn't matter. They already knew who they were gonna save when the bottom 2 came to light. |

I'm thinking of switching off now. I've said it before but haven't!! But last year I thought the show was awful and I almost didn't watch this series. There's nobody left I like now though and I'm fed up of the judges. Also, the results show is dragged out far too long. Think maybe I'm just tired of the whole format and farce of the show.

She knew she was being kicked off and slayed the song as an act of defiance.
Should have been a contender to get through to the top 3 had she had time to develop. Now, all we are left with is a couple of good singers and some bores and freaks. This will come back to haunt the show even if they think they are pandering to their core audience. |

Best performance of the lives so far to me, but then I'd have to admit to having found her deadly dull in her last two regular songs. Last week I'd put it down to her illness, this week I don't know - maybe a song just too far from any style she's comfortable with. Either way I wasn't too sorry to see her in the bottom two until she pulled that out of the bag.

I'm listening to it right now, beautiful.. much better than Union J but apparently that's not enough. Jade was my favorite, I just hope she gets a recording contract..

I think you may be right when you allude to X Factor having reached the point were it's 'gone off' |

I thought it was one of the best performances of the series. Saying that, I liked Union J aswell (both were in my top 3) but I did think Jade performed better, but it was obvious she was going and I think she herself and Tulisa knew she was going to get voted out.

Yep, but of course we need a replacement One Direction before the originals have even released their second album, so they HAD to stay.
Gary pretty openly admitted to ignoring what he had just seen, and saved the act he was meant to. Jade won the sing-off, but apparently didn't want it enough? Total nonsense and Barlow, for the 4th week in a row has another thing to be ashamed of. |

Agree, she sang it so beautifully and with such passion, I'm so angry because Gary in particular is constantly going on about unique artists and how it's a singing competition but saves a 1D clone who were dreadful in the sing-off over Jade based on 'not wanting it as much as I want it for you. Sorry? Did he hear her sing-off? I'll admit her last two performances werent her at her best, though I'd argue that they weren't really her doing, last week was to do with her being so ill and this week I think Tulisa picked a poor song for her and she did the best she could with it

Both shows are far too long and not that the four that have gone were ever going to win but the fact we've been left with Rylan, Kye and Maloney instead is a kick in the teeth. Not that the sing off has ever not been a farce but this year it's a joke. Every week they've sent the better performer home. What exactly is the point? |

Agreed OP. It was amazing. I was rooted to my chair. Jade was so criminally under rated throughout the competition, and it's a funny coincidence that she's out week 4, the same as other under rated female singers who could never quite gather the support despite huge potential. Rachel Adedeji, Sophie Habibis etc... I'm disappointed she is gone, and like someone else said, the rest of the competition is just a drain now. There are no stars left.

even if jade had sounded like a cat being raped, it would still have been infinitely superior to one ejaculation.
