I also thought they may be bland based on their little exposure on xfactor- however, after seeing a few of their youtube videos, they have huge marketing potential as they seem to have a good combo of personality and not taking themselves too seriously. They seem to have the kind of depth that plays well with media and fans when groups are trying to get a career started (One Direction also had these qualities in a very similar way). Problem is the show has done them no favors.
Also, Even though I was impressed before live show with them vocally from the pre- live show rounds, I thought there pocket area would be limited to the more US pop country market. However their youtube videos show how talented they really are and how versitle they are. The show or their mentor have done them no favors thus far. Overall, if I were a management team looking for the contestants with the most potential going foward- they would definitely be in the top 3 this year. Along with Ella & James. Although I think they may have more potential from an international target audience point of view than James. I see Ella being an international hit as well. The only other 3 I really remember thinking the same thing about were 1D, Cher, and Rebecca. But they had much better mentors or producer support or something. The question will be is D3 able to turn it around themselves or will the show get on the ball and start doing a better job guiding them?
