Carolynne v Rylan, Melanie v District3, MK1 v Kye and now Jade v Union J.

So the only realistic combination of a completely new bottom 2 is Christopher v Lucy, but that's looking very unlikely due to Christopher's huge popularity. (That was very painful to say.)

I have to agree with you, especially as Union J were in the bottom 2 this week, who I thought had a very good chance of making the final 3.

I'd rather have Union J rather than screaming Jahmene out of the realistic final 3 possibilities, but it's so obviously Ella/Jahmene/James.

So, since no winner of the show has been in the bottom two in the past, does this mean only Ella, Jahmene, James and Christopher have a shot at winning?

Baloney would be the most disliked contestant on any show if he made the final.

As well as Lucy. However one other act has a chance of making the final, I think it will be one of the groups.

However just as a group had never won last year, someone being bottom 2 still can win, it is just unlikely.

Reece Mastin in XF OZ was bottom 2 one week and went on to win; same with Michelle McManus in Pop Idol 2.
