Every year there's a shock exit and I think Lucy has a high chance of leaving next week.

I do hope so. Singer/songwriter my aras. I just listened to the Janet Devlin tracks posted ^^^^ and it makes it even more clear how much of a joke act Spraggan really is.

Can't see it happening, they issued her a bye so if she was eliminated the following week it would raise the type of publicity they don't want and it would look odd. They will push her this week, after Diana Vickers was issued a bye she got got first place with over 30% the following week, 10% more than eggnog who had won every week previously.

If she does go it won't be a shock.

It's hard to predict, and depends quite a lot on the Saturday night performance, but IMHO a few acts could go, and she is one of them.

It won't be a shock. I'm actually wondering if she'll make it to the next show, judging by the rumours going round about her!

(Lucy sings) -

"I don't want go yet or make a shock exit,
Please producers - can't you fix it..."

I wouldn't be shocked at all. Really the only shock would be Ella, Jahmene or James and there's no way they're leaving even if they are bottom 2, the judges would easily save them.

The Week 5 Shocker is more likely to be someone like Jahmene, although I certainly hope not. But Jade gave me Sophie Habibis (good voice, wrong songs most of the time) vibes, and I fear Jahmene is giving me Laura White (great singer, but shy and lacking in confidence) vibes. Nicole is also the only one still with a full category.

I'd MUCH rather it be James Arthur as the shocker, personally, as despite his talent, I only like it when he sings deep. The higher, whiny moments in his songs are unpleasant and sound like constipation. But it's hard to tell right now.

All we know is it has to be someone who hasn't been in the Bottom 2:
Lucy
Jahmene
James
Ella
Christopher

It's probably unlikely to be Ella. Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll be Christopher. Oh, please do us a favor, Lord!

P.S. I just cannot see the judges eliminating yet ANOTHER female act. Unless it's both girls in the Bottom 2, I think if either girl lands there, they will be spared. But I concur that returning from a 'bye' = vote spiking.

Do you really believe that? I wouldn't put money on any of them avoiding the bottom two or being saved by the judges. Given the spurious reasons for saving\sending home contestants most of which are not based on the waste of time sing off nothing would surprise me. By the way who the hell is voting for Rylan? I predict that when we see one of the chosen ones go the tide of opinion Will go against him.

I hope not: watching them singing together with all these weak singing boys and men and only two women left was bad. Not one single male has left yet! And they are amongst some of the very worst singers!

It won't be a shock if Lucy goes in any week. Besides, going by polls she isn't a clear favourite in the way Ella, Jahmene and James are.

Nope.

I'll go with Baloney , they wont want another girl gone for a while, just ella and a load of blokes wont work, in fact I'd think they will want Lucy on the tour with her own songs .

The only way Week 5 will be a shock is if the eliminated act isn't one of Rylan, Christopher, Kye or District 3

All week 5 exits:
S1 - Cassie Campton
S2 - Maria Lawson
S3 - Nikkita Angus
S4 - Alisha Bennett
S5 - Laura White
S6 - Lucie Jones
S7 - Treyc Cohen
S8 - The Risk (and Johnny but that wasn't a shock)

Do you really believe that? I wouldn't put money on any of them avoiding the bottom two or being saved by the judges. This is true actually, the sad thing about it is I could totally see that happening!

Who'd been bottom of the vote a couple of weeks earlier. Can't say it was much of a shock to me, or that anyone aside from the three appointed finalists leaving next week will surprise me either.

I wouldn't really say Treyc going was a shock, although she was amazing and definitely didn't deserve to go that early it was kinda obvious that she wouldn't make it that far. I think the fact that Katie stayed after sitting down in the middle of her sing off was the shock

Wouldn't really be a shock though, she's limited and there's no way she'd make the semis.

Depends who the Producers want on the tour. The cannon fodder - i.e. those they don't want on the tour because they don't think they'll sell tickets - will gradually go until the tour cut off week.

If they want Lucy on the tour, she'll stay until the cut off. After that, she's toast - they've already started the negative publicity about her.

I'd make an exception for Series 7 - Aiden Grimshaw in Week 6 was a much bigger shock at the time.
