It's like the judges worship them like gods. It was the same on BGT too.

Yes  they are rubbish, sick of reading about them, seeing them, hearing about them, they get everywhere, like sh*t in a field.

Definitely, it's THEE most annoying thing in the whole programme. Can't stand them, yet it seems like the world is rubbing them in my face, telling me to worship them!

I get sick of the fact that they have to compare D3 and UJ to them aswell.

Have not been watching this crap the past 2 weeks and don't plan on tuning in throughout the rubbish series. Makes me laugh how people are mugged into voting for this lot. 15 year old Directioners

I hated when they randomly brought them in on week 1 in the middle of the performances. So pointless.

They're just some cobbled together boy-band with the "scream-Factor."
When they split, which I'd bet would happen in a year or two, they'll all vanish without trace..

However, if you want to see "something visual, that's not too abysmal," as an antidote..

If this lot turned up the next show, I'd vote for them!

I find it hilarious because JLS have been WAY more successful in the UK. 1D have had two #3 singles in the US and a #1 album though so I guess that's why. This time last year they weren't even that famous! They seemed to be on Xtra Factor every week and had one good song.

Yeah because of their fanbase and worldwide success. But they cant sing very well, and they dont have personalities. Apart from young girls nobody wants to see them. The x factor is a turn off for older people now as the judges are younger and newer, the songs are mostly recent and they bring out one direction for teens all the time. before you had guest appearences in the week from legendry people but now thats all gone. part of the reason ratings are down. 2-3 million older people dont bother now.

I agree, certainly the group category has been dominated by younger performers, in recent years, so much so, it's a wonder any adult groups bother to audition..

They had a chance to change all that this time round and the judges even talked about how "strong," the group category was this year..yet, a couple of really talented vocal groups were over looked and we ended up with 2 "stock" insipid boy-bands and a "really relevant," "urban," act who, I very much doubt we'll ever hear of again..

That's why I'd always say, never give the groups category to Louis Walsh..

Yes - but it is hard not to look at D3 and UJ without seeing One Direction as they sound EXACTLY the same and look EXACTLY the same.

Agreed and will probably sell shed-loads for the same reason..until they're supplanted by the mob that come along next year and look and sound exactly the same..

Actually, District 3 are way ahead of One Direction, in terms of harmony singing..but I don't think that's why a number of people are voting for them.

None of this has anything whatsoever to do with musical talent..

But JLS have said they would love to have the same success 1D have at the moment, how do you explain that. Why would you want to be just successful in the UK and nowhere else? You have no ambition?

haven't been watching Xtra factor, but had no idea they have been on every week, or are you simply exaggerating?

Aren't they just?

I wondered when someone would get round to checking them out!

I've played the song a few times and got "groans," about One Direction, until they hear the lyrics!

I'm pretty sure they'd give One Direction a run for their money in the "cute," stakes..and something for the older generation to appreciate..

Actually, if I remember last year, or the year before, there was a bunch of "builder types," from Southampton who were great, in all departments and could sing, but they didn't get a look in, of course, because they were all in their late 20s!

If you liked them I doubt you wouldn't give these boys a miss. I think they would put 1D to shame.

Most certainly not what the industry is looking for at the moment. There is a reason 1D have been very successful, mainly because they are not doing this. This is dated.

If it's "dated," it's no more so than anything 1D are doing..

I'm not aware of any "boy-band," that's exactly cutting edge..I kind of think that's not the objective..

But I think there's some debate about how much artists "need," the industry in order to get their stuff across anymore, although, obviously a band like 1D need to go down that route..

And, as for dated, give me that kind of "dated," over the other kind, anyday.

I don't care how dated it is . These boys can dance in high bloody heels!!!!! When will one direction do that rather than going "Crazy, Crazy til we see the sun"? I ask you.

Plus they've got the benefits of great abs and model looks (having performed for a D &G fashion show) and are from Eastern Europe so I doubt they'd make an impact, but in their way they are above 1D for me.

To be fair, they are probably the most successful international act that has come out of the xfactor, they have fan absolutely everywhere and a lot of them, they would be stupid not to endorse them while they still can.

I think they are a group of nice guys who got a great opportunity, are making the most of it, yet some people are remarkably bitter about them.

They help write their own songs, they all sing, dance and entertain, Niall plays the guitar. And they are absolutely lovely to their fans all of the time, and they haven't let he success go to their heads? Which is easily done when they have become so successful in America aswell as the UK

Good luck to them!
