Wouldn't it be amazing if the judges rebelled

...and thought "No, I'm not going to go along with the Producers' script"?

It was blatantly obvious on Saturday night that despite singing better than Union J, District 3, Kye, Christopher and Rylan, Jade was chosen as this week's producers' scapegoat.

Ok, the song choice wasn't great but she's still a far better singer than two thirds of the contestants.

You could see from the Judges' comments that they were already setting her up to fail. "I'm worried for you", "I think you could be in trouble this week" - without fail, that means "You've been chosen to leave".

Imagine if the Judges had the guts to nod along with the briefing from the Producers, but then - in a live show - suddenly decide to actually tell the truth, and say "Union J, sorry, your sing off was crap compared to Jade, I'm sending Union J home".

OK, there would be uproar afterwards with some serious b*llockings, but at least the Judges would be able to go home with a clear conscience.

Oh well, we can dream.

Are you saying the judges managed to make her get the least votes this week by their comments?

That's a bit silly. I do think she probably would have won the deadlock hence they all favored union J. But this idea you have come up with is nonsense. They simply prefer Union J to Jade.

And the public were not voting for Jade and she had no chance to win anyway.

"Oh well, we can dream. "

Too true, but we shouldn't hold our breaths..

I'd like not just the judges to "rebel," but also the artists too..and flatly refuse to do the group song!

If I was a judge, I would definitely do that! But only if I was already planning on leaving the show

Perhaps Mr Barlow is biding his time, given that this is supposed to be his last season?

Maybe he'll go down in a blaze of controversy?

Or maybe not!

I hope they do that in November. It would be a lovely birthday present for me, from the acts

I don't think she did get the least votes. I think Union J got the least votes and that's why the judges didn't take it to deadlock for the first time this series.

Let's face it, there's always one act that suddenly starts getting knocked down. Remember when Danyl was flavour of the month for several weeks, and then all of a sudden started to get snidey and negative Judges' comments for no apparent reason?

Lo and behold, a couple of weeks later, he was out.

I firmly believe that the Producers know who they do and don't want on the tour, and manipulate the competition accordingly.

But it would be so nice if the judges rebelled one day and decided to actually judge truthfully on the sing-off, regardless of what the producers decide.

They'll never uprise against the producers. There's one rule: Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Do we even have proof it's scripted? To me it just seems like pure speculation

(Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's not).

The only proof I have is the inconsistency of "judging" which means that the Judges aren't allowed to actually tell the truth. Gary and Nicole are both very talented singers, intelligent people, have ears that are in good working order, yet neither of them said "Union J, your sing off performance was poor, only one of you can sing in tune, and your harmonies were quite frankly awful."
