......this is what I thought too - can`t see why they would have to wait until March to release a single.

I read that on the ITV news site too (at around 4pm) but then was listening to Capital FM at around 5 and Foxy was talking about G4 and said that he spoke to Louis last night about the boys. Louis had told him that the boys had 2 major labels to choose from - Decca Classical or Sony and that both were very lucrative deals and they would probably sign with one of them. So I'm very confused!!! Would love it if they have signed with Sony though as I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms and I think a single released in the near future will fix all that!!
Yay! I really hope they do release "creep" as a single, it suited them so well!!! I am really happy now....
Would have loved them to sign with Decca merely due to the talented musicians on their roster but the greedy part of me wanted Sony as it would mean them releasing something sooner rather than later. Creep must be the first single with Nessun Dorma on there too.

I'm so glad that they've signed with sony!!! I was soo upset after the final on saturday, slightly shocked also. After hearing all the rumours about them not being signed for a year etc etc I am very relieved to hear this one bit of good news. Hopefully seeing as they've signed with sony the whole 3 month thing won't apply and we'll have a single on our shelves pretty soon!!!

Yay, excellent news! I almost had an argument with someone in work today who claimed no-one would ever want to buy a G4 album and just stated as fact that Steve IS a better singer and HAS more talent... can't wait to see what they release!

It doesn't say they have signed anything... yet.
Signing with Sony should make no difference to the 3 month clause in their contract.
Still, keep hoping if you must.
They'll get plenty of media coverage from the X-Factor tour, I'm sure, even without releasing anything.
