LG Nexus 4 - worst kept secret in tech.
Spec looks fair to middling. Decent chip, screen and camera. NFC but no LTE. only 8GB and 16GB options (no SD card slot) But the price ![]() very high spec for the price !!!! £239 for the 8gb and £279 for the 16GB |

Even if not quite there with the s3 (only maybe!) at say £100 - £140 quid cheaper worth a very serious look indeed.

Gee, those prices are great! I thought the 16gb model would be £399, so very pleasantly surprised.

The 16Gb version looks like a real bargain - or other phones are way overpriced!
Maybe it's time to upgrade my Galaxy SII, the wireless charging looks interesting. |

Honestly, I was happy enough to pay the leaked £389. Very nice indeed.

This makes the spec look very good indeed....... Seems to beat the S3 on many counts. Only the lack of SD support and no LTE as the downsides. lack of SD im already used to, and I live in the countryside so LTE missing is no great loss either

I'm gonna sell my 4S and buy one.
Does it use micro sim or normal size? |

Really a cracking price, not in the market for a new phone for 9 months, but if Google keep up this pricing I may be swapping to the 'sim only - buying handset' route again.

Yes but the Nexus 4 is also quad core ......
It certainly could tempt a few waverers. Top spec for low cost. There certainly doesnt seem to be that much difference between it and the S3 for the price difference involved. is the UK S3 LTE version quad core ? I thought that was the whole issue .... that the quad core chips werent LTE capable yet ? hence the US version only being the dual core. |

Google is REALLY playing hard ball here. Apple must be terrified. I'm selling my Galaxy Nexus for a Nexus 4 definitely. £279 is an incredible price for such a high end device.

Had a good look at these phones and s3 is a bit better in my opinion but whether it is £100 - £150 better is certainly up for debate. |
