I was away yesterday at a friend's house, the amount of merchandise he has is astounding! Including a Pertwee stamp set with Jon's signature, framed and everything!

He made me a present of some audios and soundtracks, plus a recon of Fury from the Deep on DVD, with an excellent fan made cover by Paul Hawkins: http://www.doctorwhoart.zoomshare.co...p_R2_Cover.jpg

The Body dug up in a Leicester car park last september has been confirmed as King Richard III. However, I was angered at the historical inaccuraies in the BBC's news coverage:

... the man who would have given his kingdom for a horse...
He said no such thing, that line was invented by Shakespeare. Also loved how they kept cutting away from the presentation to the "breaking news story" that Chris Huhne has pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice, what an amazingly important news story that was, that it had to swallow huge portions of an historical event such as the discovery of Richard III.

I know some may think this post belongs elsewhere, but before you say it, let me add: The Doctor would be appalled

Typical. Ten years ago some American antiwar demonstrators carried signs quoting Abraham Lincoln for something he only said on Star Trek.

But this is the BBC, so one might expect ...
